It's finally here, the first survivor in the line of my L4D1 Remasters. So you can finally, FINALLY, stop asking me.

Ever since I had made Coach, Zoey was amongst the survivors I had ideas clearest ideas for, but I had decided to make Ellis, instead. This version you see is pretty much exactly how I imagined her with a few more details thrown in, like those horror movie posters. Yeah! Shoutouts to that guy that suggested that.

The idea of this is that Zoey, having put down her father, decided to grab a few more things before she left. After wiping the tears off her cheeks she would grab her prestigious college jacket with her college's mascot and the initial letter of her name (that gets obscured by the bag sling anyway, but it's there), her backpack/bag that she used to take to college, with 3 zombie film pins (cuz she's a horror geek blah blah blah). She would put on her skating gear: kneepads and fingerless gloves (I feel like Zoey would use a skateboard, she's got that kind of energy, but again that's up to interpretation). She would also grab the pouches from her late father's uniform and add them to her belt. Oh, and she would put on red and white socks as a nod the beta.

I wanted to take aspects from all iterations of Zoey to create my ultimate version of her. That's why I've changed her jacket to resemble something between the concept art, the beta and retail. I've added a few more details to make the jacket resemble a standard college jacket like the stripes on her sleeves and belt area etc. The jeans are actually ripped straight from my first ever mod port to the Workshop - Zombie Hunter Zoey, so yeah, it really has come full circle. Her converse sneakers also now have accurate logos on them. I couldn't come up with anything for her face so uhhh compatible with head reskins.

Originally, I didn't really wanna make her first of the series but a friend of mine, ANIBλL, created his own version which I saw as a "prototype" and used it as the base for this one.

Yes, I will make the rest of the L4D1 cast and the remaining infected and L4D1 variants. If I see another comment asking about it all, I'm going to self-combust.

one of zoey's hair strands seems to gain a mind of its own when she dies.

It seems I've figured it out; in my case, the problem is related to this rifle . If I switch to Zoey at the moment when she's holding this rifle and then pick up another weapon, this stretching bug occurs

I think this is more of a problem with the custom weapons rather than the arms model. I still haven't fully figured out how to reproduce this bug. The same issue can be seen in the 'Definitive L4D1 Arms Overhaul.' I didn't notice this before until I started trying out new custom weapons
