The TENET Industries NTR-21 "New Tactical Rifle of 21st Century" is an assault rifle design for advanced combat engagement. Like F.U.M. The NTR-21 use a unique rifle cartridge called "Triplex" that allow to shoot a three bullet at once. Prior the introduction of this weapon. The United Membership Armed Force (UMAF) is losing ground combat after many major defeat against Hamanisowa Resistance in 2008 following the shortage of ammunition after several protest across the galaxy which forced United Membership to cut the funding the weapon to ongoing war against Hamanisowa.

As the result, the UMAF was request a new advanced weapon that allow indirect fire against Hamanisowa resistance that use forest and many wood house as cover, to reduce the cost of standard rifle cartridge use by MCR-2000. Despite the weapon is effective at target on bigger target, the weapon is unlikely to hit someone at distance or direct fire which is the reason that UMAF was request for, this is given the name of this gun as "bug spray".
