Triple D Mining Rig

The Triple D is your all around goto for mining on multiple surfaces, both above and below the water line. It comes with an ore scanner to help discover those rich deep sea deposits of uranium. When in Drilling mode, the wheels fold up so the drill can reach the surface, and when in driving mode, the wheels deploy to give you that clearance needed to traverse the bumpy sea floor. You can also keep the rig in diving mode to keep you firmly planted on to the surface of the sea floor if needed.

Controls are very simple.

WASD for all driving controls
toggle buttons for Mode(Driving,Drilling) and Lights.

Diving, Idle, and Surfacing are controlled via Aux 1,2,and 3 buttons.

It's capable of motoring along on the surface of the water, and for long distances it comes with towing hookups to make towing with a boat easy. Once on the ocean floor, you can drive just as you would on land to reach that rich ore precisely. There's a drill ore readout to make sure you are on top of the vein, as well as tank volume, mode indicator, and diving conditions readout.

* 8/5/2024 * Update: Some QOL updates, notably All Switches are now panel ones, Depth below surface and Ocean floor AGL readouts on panel. An autopilot switch that will keep you moving forward without the need to hold W key down. Rudders and new engine configuration to aid a bit in speed and turning.
