Description
Someday during journey, survivors met a strange man called "Postal Dude God". Seeing how the survivors loved shooting for fun, the Postal Dude God blessed them with "No Reload" ability, to make zombie apocalypse more fun.

Well, enough for the background story. So, this mod is a mod for fun. This mod allows you to experience the "No Reload" feature in "Postal 2" game.

"What features are on this mod?"

As this is just a simple mod for fun, there's only 1 feature in "postal 2 no reload cfg.txt":
  1. Postal 2 Mode: This feature controls which type of survivor (bot only/ player only/ all) can shoot without reloading. The value also controls whether it only affects primary guns, or both primary & secondary guns.

Well, have fun in playing Postal 2 as survivors.

NOTES:
  • A video preview will be added later.

  • A known bug: Guns that can aim/ scope like snipers & sg552 will cancel the aim when ammo reaches 0 before auto refill feature happens. But if the scope mode is from other mod (like from my "Scope on All Guns" mod), the guns except snipers & sg552 can still keep shooting while aiming.

  • Grenade launcher can keep shooting even if the ammo clip is 0, but the reserve ammo will be reduced one by one on each shot (so basically you'll become a demolition man when carrying grenade launcher :D ).

@SapphyrKhaos , this mod mainly uses "weapon_fire" event function to trigger the "no reload" feature. For guns except shotguns, they use a netprops that instantly refills ammo clip while at the same time taking reserve ammo (a netprops used when finishing reloading). As for shotguns, because that netprops doesn't work on shotguns so I improvised by using other netprops like "m_iClip" & "m_iAmmo" (that's why previously I asked whether the bug was on all primary or only shotguns).

So in short, one or some of your mods that might trigger the bug could be script mods that also use "weapon_fire" event function. But there's still one mystery, about the pistols. Pistols use same scripts as guns other than shotguns, so if pistols work but others don't, that's most likely a bug caused by undetected conflicts with one or some mods.

@SapphyrKhaos , have you tried to enable only this mod & then disable all script mods? I usually did that to check whether there are invisible/ undetected conflicts between certain mods, like, I disable all script mods & then re-enable every 10-20 script mods to test until the bug happens again. There's high possibility that one or some of your script mods triggered that bug, because it didn't happen to me when I combined with more than 20 script mods I subscribed.

Now it only works with pistols. I'm not sure what the issue could be, because it's not visibly conflicting with anything. Idk.

Okay, I'm gonna test this again and see. It might be conflicting with an accuracy mod I use, but not too sure. I'll get back to you.

@SapphyrKhaos , it shouldn't conflict, because if the reserve ammo is infinite, it won't be reduced when no reload is triggered. The easy example is pistol. Pistol has infinite reserve ammo, so if pistol has no problem, other weapons with infinite reserve ammo also have no problem either.

Do you think this conflicts with infinite ammo scripts? specifically one that makes the ammo reserve infinite and not the magazine capacity?

@wnr1 , if what you meant the characters for the survivors, they're (from left to right) Tina Armstrong, Marie Rose (hoodie costume), Kasumi, & Momiji from "Dead or Alive"

Before, I didn't notice any change with shotguns. I'll give it a try now and update
