Worthwhile Hashish Smuggling

Description
This mod aims to make the risks of smuggling Hashish into illegal territories *more profitable and rewarding*
All in a lore friendly and balanced fashion!

What this mod does
This mod adds Hashish Dealer NPCs that will have a chance to spawn in United Cities, Holy Nation, and Shek Kingdom towns. The NPC will wander about throughout the day looking for potential buyers and may even call out to you personally if you are carrying illegal goods on you. Unlike Thieves Guild, they will buy Hashish from you at full price! But be warned, there is a higher risk selling to these suspicious NPCs, and they are not always guaranteed to spawn at each town.

Changes from the original mod
- Fixes the Hashish Dealer NPC AI Goals so they are no longer ransacking the town and breaking into houses. Their days of terror have finally come to an end!
- Hashish Dealer NPCs are now no longer guaranteed to spawn at every town. They now have a chance to spawn with said chance varying from town to town depending on the faction in control. Check the spoilers discussion for exact rates.
- City guards are now cracking down even harder on Hashish smuggling! There is now a slight chance for the Hashish Dealer to be an undercover police in disguise! If you try selling to them, you will only earn a bounty and an arrest warrant. Be careful of who you sell to! There are ways of telling who is safe though. Either learn the signs, or check the spoilers discussion for more details.
- Removed certain dialogue effects that had no effect in conversations.
- Slight dialogue adjustments.
- Slight edit to Thieves Guild Bar Squads that now allows them to purchase illegal goods just like their tower counterparts.

Compatibility & Load Order
This mod should work with just about every other mod. The Hashish Dealer NPC's clothing are taken from the citizens of each faction to help them blend in better with the crowd. Any mod that heavily alters faction clothing may cause these dealers to look a bit out of place.
Load order should not matter too much with this mod. To be safe, I would place it after any town altering mods to ensure the NPC spawns.

Make sure to import after installing to ensure the NPC dealer spawns!

Special thanks to ChaosMass for their original mod and to Cattrina for helping figure out dialogue effects in FCS.
Extra thanks to Helium for designing the thumbnail for me.

Thank you so much. Got a farm growing 30 every harvest and I don't want to run across the entire damn map to sell at max profit.

Oooooooo this is fantastic, thank you very much for the fix!! @Turt

I couldn't find the solution myself, no matter of the money settings, the dealer's money was always binded to wages but it didn't restock.

I guess hash is back on menu!
Emperor Beep FTW! :beeped:

Thank you!!

I finally got the vendors money to refresh properly! Sorry this took so long! An import will be required for the updates changes to take effect.

No worries. If there's an issue with the mod, then I want to make sure I can fix it. I'll take a look and see whats going wrong. Let me know if you find any solutions as well!

@Turt
Yes, it's been at least three days since Clownsteady / Drifter's Last was unloaded, and I went far enough wit entire squad (Flats Lagoon) and spent a couple of days there. The dealers still have hash in their invertory and remaining 800-1100 Cats.

I'm trying to see how FCS money values would affect dealer's money restock.
I'll give an update if I find the solution!

Anyway - my apologies for bothering you too much and thank you for your work! :cozykcdknight:

Did you leave the town, as in move far away enough to unload it, for a minimum of 12 hours? I'm not playing Kenshi atm, but if the vendor still isn't restocking, I'll take a look at it.

Heyo - thank you very much for the mod! There is one issue though, it seems that the dealer's money doesn't reset even after leaving the area :(

Anyway, this is a dope mod regardless!
I just miss selling hash to dealers since they're all out of money lol
I guess import would work fine though

Ah thank you very much for your answer. Again, great mod.

Like any other shop or vendor, you probably need to reload the area. I think for most shops, simply being outside their building allows them to restock, but since these NPCs are loaded into the actual town, you will want to leave the entire town for a bit and return after the 12h mark.
