Soooooo.... I may have watched the entire race live.... wtf happened 2 days ago....


Here's a rundown of what happened in the simplest terms from my friend Splash:

Austin had a 3 second lead and was about to win with 2 to go
wrecky spinhouse spun ryan preece cuz why the ♥♥♥♥ not
yellow flag
joey beat hamlin in the pit stop
joey took the outside at the start and took the lead in the final lap
and austin was not gonna let himself lose after the race he had
pretty much everyone knew dillon was gonna hit the 22 which is why the announcer says "there's the contact"
he even said "he's gonna have to hit him" right before
then he slams into hamlin and puts him into the wall
dillon wins



Yeah, very terrible situation. NASCAR understandably may be putting penalties on him. (Deserved tbh) But he should still keep his win and playoff spot. (he did have the fastest car in the closing laps)


It seems as if the richmond restarts are getting worse and worse, like, PLEASE STOP DOING OVERTIMES AT RICHMOND
IT KEEPS ON GIVING US UNRIGHTFUL WINNERS!!!!
