Description
CCS presents the jewel of the current fleet. The "Wayward Philosopher" is our most advanced craft to date, featuring automatic perimeter defence coils and comprehensive crafting suites. The "Philospopher" is designed to be almost self sufficient on long cruises away from the most distant outposts, seeking to explore the Europan frontiers with a skilled and competent crew. There is ample internal storage as well as exterior 'wet storage' for easy access during EVA missions. From us, to you...

The ship features a defence network which surrounds the entire ship with great scope for upgrades. There is also a built in berth for the CCS shuttle "In Small Packages" which is soon to join the CCS fleet.

Balanced for a crew of 4-8
Dive rate: -19 - 14.3 Km/h
Speed: 26.7 Km/h
4 small weapon mounts
1 large weapon mount
3 automatic discharge coils
Decoy/Depth charge tube
Nominal cargo capacity of 12-24 crates including wet storage
(It is not advisable to accept explosive contracts of more than 12 crates!)



This is my largest build yet so there absolutely will be bugs and errors. Please report anything you come across and i will try and get it fixed as soon as possible : )

I have fixed the bilge ya rats... No longer supporting these old subs as I have new ideas in the works.

Ah I must have missed a gap there: will fix soon.
regarding the airlock, i guess i can put in a switch for manually overriding the automation? would that be a good solution? you would have to remember to turn it off when done fixing things. Maybe a checksum that monitors the pump health and turns off the automation when it's low would be better? let me know

I found out why the pumps arent working in the reactor/engineering room. Its because the platform/floor is stopping the water from entering the bilge

I'm having some problems with the pumps.
Firstly: the small pumps in engineering, and reactor bilge arent working.
Secondly: whenever the pumps in air lock need repairs or the outside door breaks, the inside door locks itself, it even cannot be forced open.

huh, weird that no one else has discovered that yet lol. Will investigate today... probably just missed the connecting wire

I encountered a big problem with your submarine: The docking hatch doesn't work. The monitor doesn't even prompt to dock with the station.
