Description
Lore: With war against the space pirates in full swing, the previous generation Jx 23594 miners found themselves unable to keep pace with the demands of the renewed conflict in the 2125 era. While they served with distinction in the previous war and for several decades after, they began to show their age by the year 2110. The previous generation of tech also had a harder time breaking up and harvesting the newly discovered Xabrium and especially Duron ores. Due to age and the demands of war a new mining craft was needed. Shendar and Hawk Industries partnered their companies together with the Phantom Elite Division to create a miner using the new polaronic energy laced Oparose Drills to harvest ores much easier than previous generations of craft could do. To withstand the rigors of war, the miner was constructed with a Duramax hull, along with being fitted with Xabrium power systems, Galdax Thrusters to help move large loads of raw materials much easier and fitter with 2 reinforced autocannon turrets to defend its cargo. These craft can be seen zipping in and out of mining operations helmed by the Phantom Elite Division with an occasional craft being seen as part of a civilian mining operation.

Notes: When I originally created my first mining craft back in 2016 I was new to the game and didn’t have the experience that I do now. While the previous Jx 23594 miners and its upgraded variants did what I needed them to do, they were clunky at best and not nearly as efficient as they could have been, and were heavily resource intensive requiring a ton of reactors for power. This was during the time when uranium could be found on planets originally, and the game has changed a lot since then. Since it’s been some time since I created a new mining craft, I decided to create a new one to replace my old ones that were showing their age. This craft comes with my 2125 era tech such as the Oparose Drills which have greater range than standard vanilla drills allowing more material to be gathered more quickly. If you want a craft capable of gathering large amounts of material quickly, look no further.

Miner comes with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 9th already programmed. Miner's hull is primarily DuraMax Light Armor with Medium and original heavy variants reinforcing certain areas. Although miner is not meant for combat it was granted 2 turrets to help defend its valuable loads.

Sensor Array is set to scan for hostiles and set off the sound blocks if an enemy is detected. control of turrets and whether to turn them on is left to that of the pilot. Miner comes with full set of 2125 tools, a pistol, rifle, some ammo for the weapons, some ammo for the turrets, some starting xabrium and uranium for the reactors, as well as oxygen and hydrogen bottles for those who wish to spawn it in.

Miner can carry around 65k kilos of material before it must return to unload. Miner may feel a little sluggish of using full 65k kilos of capacity. Recommend not going over 60k kilos if miner feels too sluggish.
