Description
Tired of Intrepide Duelist losing all her stacks from a puny attack or from constant DoTs? Maybe you're up for more ridiculous scaling beyond the 5 stack limits? Or maybe you had one too many stray atrophic cut CRITs ruin your gambling streak. Look no further.

Gamble-pide reworks her "When Missed" buffs and debuffs to a manageable scale, but they LAST THE ENTIRE RUN. Don't fret though, for the new Preparation and Coup De Grace will compliment this new playstyle well.

Notice to gambling addicts of the True-er Entropy:
The True-er Entropy mod has Intrepide’s Stance Tokens as one of many effects it can give on Turn Start, which this mod has overridden for the rework’s functionality. Heroes with this trinket that are missed with such tokens can and will possess the buffs and debuffs until the run end’s or the hero dies, with no means of negation. The order on the in-game list will not interfere with one another. Use these together at your discretion, and report any problems that occurs if you do.

Path passive changes:
  • All Intrepide Buffs and Debuffs now last the entire run.
  • Reduced Defensive "When missed" effects from +20% DMG dealt/+40% DMG taken to +5% DMG/+5% DMG Received.
  • Reworked Aggressive "When missed" effects from +5% CRIT/-10% DoT RES to +2% CRIT/-1% Max HP (This is to make the decision between using Preparation for which buff more impactful, representing the choice to soften Raw Damage or Damage Over Time effects. Leaving her moderately above average DoT alone allows both a more favorable negation buff and semblance of a buffer against DoTs when being instantly Death's Door-ed)

Reworked Preparation allows you to temporarily negate, and even optimizes on a stance's debuff when used with its respective stance.

  • Preparation and Preparation+ no longer give Strength and Speed
  • Preparation and Preparation+ Cooldown increased from 1 to 2
  • Preparation will now heal HP% equal to her -HP debuff when in Aggressive Stance.
  • Preparation will now negate her -HP Debuff, for 3 rounds, when in Aggressive Stance.
  • Preparation will now negate her +DMG Received Debuff, for 3 rounds, when in Defensive Stance.
  • Preparation+ will now heal HP% equal to her 2 times her -HP debuff when in Aggressive Stance.
  • Preparation+ will now invert half of her -HP Debuff, for 3 rounds, when in Aggressive Stance.
  • Preparation+ will now Invert half of her +DMG Received Debuff, for 3 turns, when in Defensive Stance.

Coup De Grace cashing out? Please. We double down with the gambling winnings here.

  • Coup De Grace and Coup De Grace+ no longer removes Intrepide Statuses.
  • Coup De Grace and Coup De Grace+ Cooldown increased from 2 to 3.
  • Coup De Grace and Coup De Grace+ values has been adjusted to 4-6 DMG and 10% CRIT.
  • Coup De Grace will now scale from Intrepide buffs twice.
  • Coup De Grace+ will now scale from Intrepide buffs thrice.

Referring to my previous comment it was a bug on the games part. I had too many mods and it broke the character. please ignore it.

I personally think that this is an amazing mod; however, there is one problem with it: when you use the upgraded version of preparation, it doesn't heal you or give you lost max HP back, which is mainly the only turn-off of this mod considering any suffering that this mod brings you is your own fault. Along with writing this review, I hope that the creator of this mod would fix this, as it makes me want to bash my head into a wall when I see that my health has not gone back from 13 to 38. Thank you very much for your time! :3

unmastered Prep does ignore the debuff in defensive stance, but Prep+ dmg debuff inversion doesn't reduce incoming dmg when used from defensive stance.

Update: Rearranged effect order of Prep's negation and inversion buffs. This should fix Def stance's buff not showing up.

For clarification, Prep+ both negates the current debuff, then takes half the value as an invisible -DMG Recieved/+HP buff respectively. Will change the tooltips for clarification.

This mod is quite fun, maybe I should give real gambling a try.
