EE-T2 Osorio "Al-Fahd"

The EE-T2 Osorio is an MBT designed in Brazil by Engesa, it was developed to combat the M1 Abrams, Challenger 1 and AMX-40 in the Al-Fahd program in Saudi Arabia in 1987. The Osorio defeated all of the program's opponents, however , due to the start of the Gulf War, the Saudis opted for the Abrams, and with the Brazilian Army refusing the tank, the project was abandoned and Engesa went bankrupt due to the expense on the armored vehicle and the default given by Iraq a few years earlier.
