Zero-fuel Astra cargo module


This is a dedicated cargo module that will work with any RE2 Astra-compatible carrier. It provides 4x640k and 3x320k container controllers, plus has room for many small miscellaneous cargo boxes. The pre-installed 22 boxes are an arbitrary assortment so feel free to add or remove boxes as you desire. With the thrusters and weapons (detector) switches off you will have plenty of idle power remaining to run a variety of fridges without burning fuel.

The side cargo bay doors will open on approach but can also be locked open using the signal switches in the control panel. You can also deploy the side ramps from there, but please note that the module is not designed for planetary use. You have 4 medium ion thrusters for lift, and even if upgraded to plasma or antimatter you will not have enough lift to move the amount of cargo that this module can hold.

The matter transceiver is accessible through the hatch at the very back of the cargo bay if you wish to upgrade it.

If you want to change between the Astra and Stellar Dynamics paint jobs there is an LCD with instructions accessible through the control panel.
