Information for Travellers

The Kaui Qing system contains four rocky worlds and two asteroid belts.

Kaui Qing’s Class C Starport is the only Starport capable of repairing smaller starships in the Singer Pocket.

The planet Kaui Qing is an Ice capped, non-agricultural meso vacuum world with an extremely cold climate and no atmosphere - most sophonts will require a vac suit to survive. The small amount of surface water is frozen solid.

The planet Kaui Qing is reliant on goods brought in by off-world traders to maintain TL-10. It is also reliant of imports of food.

The Kaui Qing system sits in the isolated Singer Pocket – a group of three systems isolated by Jump-2 or Jump-3 voids.

In 789 Kaui Qing was colonised by the Trexalon Technical Consortium (TTC). The colony extracted resources from deep below the frozen surface. The wealth of minerals attracted other off-world corporations and freelance prospectors, leading to confrontations with TTC.

Fearful of Imperial intervention, TTC sold the Government of Kaui Qing to a small number of wealthy individuals. TTC retains monopoly control over resource extraction in the system.

Kaui Qing is a Feudal Technocracy. The population of 30,000,000 lives in underground settlements. The Government of Trexalon maintains its influence via TTC and control of most off-world trade.

The simulation is currently stable, but that might change when running the simulation forward.
