Description
M500 passenger & baggage cars used by North Carolina Department of Transporation on the Piedmont service. They are Pullman Standard & St. Louis Car coaches built in the 1960s for Kansas City Southern. Restore in the early 1990s. Baggage Cars are restored cars from the St. Louis Car Company and are originally US Army Hospital cars, part of their restoration included adding some seats to the car. M500 is the AAR code used for these cars.
