My quick and simple (except for the aerodynamics in this game being utter rubbish) version of the Bell P-39Q Airacobra fighter.

It is armed with 4 x .50 caliber machine guns in the wings and 2 x .50 caliber machine guns in the nose, and a 37 mm M4 automatic cannon firing through the propeller hub.

Info from Wikipedia, somewhat edited.

The Bell P-39 Airacobra was a fighter produced by Bell Aircraft for the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. It was one of the principal American fighters in service when the United States entered combat. The P-39 was used by the Soviet Air Force, and enabled individual Soviet pilots to score the highest number of kills attributed to any U.S. fighter type flown by any air force in any conflict.

It had an unusual layout, with the engine installed in the center fuselage, behind the pilot, and driving a tractor propeller in the nose with a long shaft. It was also the first fighter fitted with a tricycle undercarriage.

Almost 10,000 were produced from 1940 to May 1944.

The most successful and numerous use of the P-39 was by the Soviet Air Forces. Soviet pilots appreciated the cannon-armed P-39 primarily for its air-to-air capability. A common Western misconception is that the Bell fighters were used as ground attack aircraft. This is because the Soviet term for the mission of the P-39, prikrytiye sukhoputnykh voysk (coverage of ground forces) has been mistaken as meaning close air support. In Soviet usage, it has a broader meaning including protection of the airspace above army operations. Soviet-operated P-39s did make strafing attacks, but it was "never a primary mission or strong suit for this aircraft".

CONTROLS
Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brakes.
Up/Down arrows / Mouse: Pitch.
Left/Right arrows / Mouse: Roll.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear.
K/Hazard lights: Gun sight illumination.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Machine guns.
Fire action 2/Num 2: Automatic cannon.

Note! For some reason the physics in the game do NOT like this plane and getting it flying reasonably stable has been a chore since its behaviour seems random. Spawn it in and it flies one way, spawn it in again and it behaves differently, open it in the editro, change NOTHING, and it behaves differently again. F*ck me this game is broken to Hell and back.
That being said it flies ok for me at 165 FPS in single player, but I have no clue how it'll behave under other circumstances. Blame Fluppi, not me.

Feel free to edit, but if you reupload publicly in any way please acknowledge the original creatiion and creator.

Have fun!

I'll probably stick to building 20 ton tanks that behave like they're filled with helium instead and have the grip of an icecube on a hot stove.

But I must say it's an achievement of sorts to create a game where a plane behaves differently between one spawn and another WHEN YOU HAVE CHANGED NOTHING!!!

I'm well aware that some of my planes are not properly balanced in many ways, mostly the older ones I've had to update and rework completely twice due to physics updates, but also some newer ones because they seem to work sometimes but not others, and any minor adjustment can create wildly different outcomes. I can't be bothered to go through all 100+ planes AGAIN to fix all the issues.
But feel free to edit any and all of my planes if you like.

My issue is that the aerodynamics physics in the game suck for planes like WW2 planes, the "dynamic" system thatr was introduced in 1.3 is so bad and makes no sense, there's far too little lift at low speeds and ridiculous amounts of lift at high speeds, and I can get a plane to work for me on my PC at 144 FPS, but for someone else at 60 fps it behaves completely differently, MP in this supoosed online MP game is just a f*ing disaster as a whole, and even on my own compouter at the same fps sometimes they just behave differently from one spawn to the next.
I'm just fed up with a badly optimised, badly executed game where the developer seems more interested in adding more broken features than actually fixing the core functionality of the game.

Tbh I like to fix and change aircraft, so I could try and fix some of them that don't want to function.

My interest in building planes is quickly vanishing for sure. Even if I get it to work ok for me at my fps in single player there's no telling howbit will behave at a different fps, and mp is just so broken it's not even funny IMO.

I feel ya, this game is so broken, one of the reasons why I just don't have motivation to build in brick rigs

Seriously f*ck this game, it's SO BROKEN!!!!!!! I tested and tweaked this plane for over 5 hours today to get it to fly somewhat the way I wanted, and now when I start uo the game and try it again it behaves completely differently!! You can literally spawn a plane in and it behaves one way, and rfespawn it just for it to behave differently.
Your "dynamic fluid physics" don't work. FIX YOUR F*CKING GAME!!!!!!:steamsalty:
