Description
THIS MOD REQUIRES ACHIEVEINTEGRATIONS TO USE. IT WILL BREAK IF YOU DON'T INSTALL AND ENABLE THAT AS WELL!

This mod is the "lite" edition of the ReForged Content Mod. This has only features with no or minimal impact on the gameplay while still providing a lot of the quality-of-life changes I included in the full package.

Quality of Life Changes

  • You can use the default translation method for books, but if you have the requisite language, you can also just drop an un-translated text into Study and it'll magnet the correct Scholar skill.
  • In the Detective legacy, your evidence is now tinted blue, so as to not confuse it with the evidence others create.
  • Several small inconsistencies in capitalization that bothered me have been changed. (In the header bar while executing actions.)
  • When Patrons are away, they are grayed out like your stat cards and color back in over time.
  • The "Secret" HQ aspect has been buffed, due to its erratic nature (and because from guides and personal experience almost everyone uses a Library). It now triggers 50% of the time (instead of 30%), and specifically targets Notoriety, to make these HQs more attractive.
  • When using the action "Speak of Esoteric Matters", you may now manually slot a Passion or a Reason card, to attract the attention you want. This should help prevent scenarios where you are rolling Patrons and already have your five, while struggling to find followers.
  • An alternate means of getting the Ever After endings has been added, simply Talking to an Interested Follower and slotting your Desire. I coded exceptions for this, where you can't do it with the Temptation/Dedication: Remembrance Desires. I just don't think it's true to the intended atmosphere to be able to Ever After given you typically can't.
  • The Physician job now takes 70 seconds, to reflect the "long hours" in the description.
  • Corrected a weird behavior in the base game where some expeditions warm up in only 10 seconds instead of 30.
  • In the Priest Legacy, you may Study with the Parish job with a Health to transform the Health to Hunger, allowing you to get a Hunger card without running out of Funds.
  • When exploring with Health or Followers, Streets Strange By Daylight is a permanent card, found after exhausting other locations. Once done, you will only find Hirelings.
  • Patrons now fade in from gray while they're away. The Spintria you're given is now created, instead of the commission transforming into it, so it'll automatically stack with other Spintria.
  • You may now use prisoners multiple times to access the Spider Door and use the necessary tools to access the Peacock Door multiple times. Prisoners receive injuries which need to be healed (providing a scar but no aspect bonuses, 3 of a kind still kills them), and repairing the Wildering Mirror is slightly more expensive to compensate.


Bugfixes
  • There is a function in the base code that is an overall success state, that is never properly called by the expedition code. I fixed this, and also duplicated that function because I wanted to slightly expand the text provided.
  • Typos, inconsistent header text, etc in various locations including expeditions and Speaking of Esoteric Matters, have been fixed.


I've done my best to take these elements from the greater mod and split them off into their own chunk. However, I cannot guarantee there will not be bugs. I double-checked to make sure there aren't calls to files that don't exist in the full version... but a triple-check wouldn't have gone amiss. I'm also not sure about how nicely things will play if more than one split-off mod is active, Please please please, let me know if it breaks or there are any bugs. But please, before you post about bugs, make sure that you have AchieveIntegrations enabled, below this mod.

If you install this mod and another split-off Lite ReForged mod, this one should probably be below the other modules, like Glover and Glover or whatnot. In any case, I hope you enjoy.

I'm just going to say this again because I got people who didn't read the description fully: You. Need. AchieveIntegrations. Put it below this mod in the load order. If you install another module of mine on top of it, put it above this mod.

If you use the full version of ReForged, you do not need to install this mod at all.
