10k Cargo

The Spinetail is designed to be an upgradable starter SV. Using basic ressources, you start with 10k cargo and 4k ammo to carry salvage you get while exploring. You have space inside for upgrades : jump drive, shield and boosters, cpu extenders and generators. You can replace back thrusters for medium jet thrusters, upgrade all the thrusters and add weapons to make it a fighter against small pois.

Nice work, really like the ship. I'm having a hard time though figuring why its not airtight inside of it. I tried plugging what seemed like holes but no luck. Any thoughts?

This has been the most versatile and easily upgraded SV I have used. An absolute must have IMHO. Would love to hear your favorite weapons for hitting those POI's!!

This is my go-to first SV every time I play. Spawns cheap and can get you around, and easily expands and upgrades to carry you all the way through mid-game. Kudos!! And if LyfeForse likes it, you know you're doing something right!

I like this ship, only problem I have is with the hangar doors, I have to enter the hangar sideways.
Good options for upgrade, I`ll have to add jets in order to zoom by bigger POIs when exploring a planet and I`ll have to add some generators or just change them for upgraded ones

For example, change the light behind engine to add two more weapons; add 5 defenders and so on.

Love this ship, I upgraded mine with bigger thrusters, a shield, a warp-drive, rocket launchers under the wings, 2 constructors and reinforced steel everywhere, it's my workhorse.
I play with a modified config file wich allows me to put 8 T2 and 6 T3 CPUs on everything. :D
I had some headhaches to make it airtight, I finally removed the two useless ramps for me and it's ok, everything is fine when I'm in the back with my drone in dangerous atmospheres now.
