ReForged Lite - Glover and Glover

Description
THIS MOD REQUIRES ACHIEVEINTEGRATIONS TO USE. IT WILL BREAK IF YOU DON'T INSTALL AND ENABLE THAT AS WELL!
I believe this mod should work without the QoL-Only Reforged Lite, but if you use both, make sure this mod is above the QoL-Only mod in the list, as well as AchieveIntegrations.

This is a split-off portion of my ReForged Content Mod that seeks to re-imagine everyone's favorite Clerical Work - Glover and Glover.

Why did I do this?

I found the Glover and Glover system fascinating. There is a surprisingly layered system for a total side-track to the whole "cult" thing. It was also responsible for my first non-standard game-over when I wasn't paying attention, and I will always have respect for it for that. However, I found it odd that the Reason job stops really needing Reason at all when you get to the highest echelon of the company (though it may also be a social commentary on "hardworking" execs, which, fair enough). It can also be an infinite money generator, completely removing any tension that may arise from needing to keep Funds around. I think that G&G should still have the potential to be the highest-paying job in the game, but with some restraint to make it harder to get 600+ Funds in one game. (Speaking from a personal experience.)

I didn't think that just adding Reason cards to the equation would be enough to make it interesting, and on top of that, working with existing code from the original was giving me a headache. Weather Factory has gotten better about what they name their recipes nowadays, and how they're written, but G&G was clearly from an earlier point in development. So instead I got to brainstorming how I would re-work G&G. What if, in addition to requiring more interaction with Ability cards, the nature of the job was more dynamic and engaging? What if, once you were on the Board, instead of just relaxing and collecting a paycheck, you had the ambition to use that position to leverage additional influence? What if you could get your cultis- I mean, your legitimate respectable business consultants- in on the company?

And that idea kind of exploded from there. It's by far been the most frustrating to bug-fix and develop but at the same time I think it's my favorite overhaul to how the game is played. I present to you, a ReForged Glover and Glover. This will function just like how it does in the full mod but it should work without any other ReForged nodes; it still requires AchieveIntegrations.

General Changes
  • G&G operates on a 5-day work week; after working the job 5 times, it becomes unusable for 120s. This allows (or forces) you to do other work on the weekends, giving you a chance to get to those commissions you've been putting off or working your mind and body.
  • An event occurs once each day; almost all of them impact the overall run-time of the card as well as potentially requiring additional cards to complete challenges. The higher you rise the more events there are.
  • "Annoyances" no longer remove themselves and require you to make use of followers and/or summons. Principles that can do this have been adjusted and are unique to each annoyance, and you cannot use the same minion twice. The least risky options for dealing with annoyances have the lowest chance of success. You also need to be "annoyed" multiple times before you can deal with them. No rapidly murdering your way to the top, sorry.
  • If you let the job decay to "A Difficulty At Work" you are no longer demoted on your return - you receive a strike. 3 strikes, and you're fired. The Difficulty can also decay.

Tier-Specific Changes
  • "Work Overtime, at Mr. Alden's Insistence" - if done before the weekend, gives you less time before the card decays to A Difficulty At Work. Because you stayed later, and you still have to be there in the morning.
  • "Acceptance" - requires your Temptation card instead of Passion. This is because I got bamboozled by not reading closely enough to realize what I was slotting a Passion for. You still have the option of choosing Acceptance instead of Ambition once the second annoyance is gone, if you wish.
  • The Board - a huge alteration. Events arise where you can slot stat cards, followers, even your Scholar skills, to earn Reputation. If you capture a Notoriety with the job, it still has a random chance to be destroyed harmlessly, but if you have 5 Reputation or more and the Notoriety is caught, you can lose 5 rep and simply destroy the card with no harm to you. You can blackmail a rival to get a +2 Funds payout once a week (paid each Friday). You can receive intel that allows you to slot followers on an espionage mission to a rival firm, engaging in clandestine operations to uncover secrets (lore) and break things to get payout. The card always uses a minimum of 2 Reason, which will keep your cards in use a lot, but you can still end up making a fortune on the Board.

Typically if I progress Glover and Glover in a normal Minor Ascension game I'll still end up with over a hundred Funds if I can spend long enough on the Board without the card being "tainted". Closer to the 50s if I stay Senior. I hope that you will find G&G to be more engaging and interesting with these modifications. Enjoy!

I think I figured it out: The game doesn't have a follower for The Younger Glover, so the game produces infinite copies of a null follower in the job until the game crashes

Hello!
I wanted to share with you a crash that just happened:
I had advanced to the remove Mr. Alden portion of G&G, and initially tried using Teresa to bring him to glory, which failed.
However, when I attempted to use a follower, it only tried talking to them, and would not send the follower out to deal with Mr.Alden using lantern
I then tried to mutate using console the 'Summoned' tag onto my follower and then slot it in, which caused a massive crash (as I guess using summons twice in a row was not allowed).
I was looking through rcm.glover.annoyance.json and I was wondering if it is maybe the Summoned: -1 tag under the Talk action for any of the ways to deal with Alden/Glover Jr. that is causing this.
Although I clearly see that it is Summoned : 1 tag for dealing with them using Edge so I'm not sure what to make of it.
Anyway I hope this can help you test it out.
