GuruSR's DIVORCE! HearthFires Edition

Description
Divorce your current spouse, so you can marry the right one (HA suuure).

This version is HearthFires requiring, you must unsubscribe to the non-HearthFires version (look in my mod list to find it if you have it) and subscribe to this one. You will get complaints with save-games that had the old version in it, the Steam Workshop doesn't allow us to put version in for specific DLC additions, so it had to be done this way.

Simply visit the temple where marriages are performed, then once inside, turn left, see the altar? Go use it.

this looks promising, my Ysolda is stuck in lakeview strafing on the spot all the time and walking backwards everywhere.... its just wierd. hope your mod gets rid of that!

The mod resets the marriage quest back to default, so it should allow you to remarry so long as you don't have another mod that alters the marriage system, perhaps move the mod lower on your load order to see if that solves it.

I can't seem to re marry, is that a part of the mod or just me?

Brilliant! Worked like a charm! My wife...uh...Lydia...had vanished in a buggy cloud somewhere along the line while following me on a quest. Could not get rid of the "married" status, for many game months...until this mod solved the problem. Bravo!

The shrine, altar seemed better, since a shrine is more than just a statue typically. And as for "modded" NPCs, if they work on the game's default marriage system, then it should work the same for them.

There's no altar but there is a shrine

does it work on modded npcs?

HearthFires *is* needed, you do have it? There is a non-HeartFires version on here as well. No idea why it didn't work for you, unless you have a mod that alters the town, then it's possible that could cause issues. Most other divorce mods don't actually undo the marraige, they just remove some of the factions and you may find issues down the road.
