The Hermes is a very small personal shuttle, designed to fit in the most compact hangars while retaining the performance and style that larger craft have. Inspired by early-era spaceflight, the Hermes is aerodynamic and well-suited for orbital insertion and takeoff. Perfect for couriers, tourists, and civilians alike, the reliable design of the Hermes and its ease-of-use make the Hermes a favorite among amateur and experienced pilots alike.

Take the road less traveled, with Hermes.

beautifull :)

I have indeed tested it with Real Orbit and Aerodymanic Physics mod, but I'm not sure about the Realistic Thrust mod. The placement of the forward thrusters is somewhat aligned with the center of mass and the lateral thrusters could easily function as realistic RCS, but the forward thruster is out of alignment.

It looks like this will survive Deadly Reentry and Realistic Orbits with the Speed Mod, will it work with Realistic Thrust?

Aww, Thank you! Also, @Eekeker it's a station from an old MES mod that I heavily modified, and unfortunately I cannot find the original. I may make a station like it from scratch in the future- keep an eye out!

I loved the design, ur a pro builder

What's the station grid in the back of the fourth picture? Is it on the workshop?

It seems you're correct, I had a misunderstanding of the concept. I'll fix the mistake, thanks for pointing it out

Ah, so you actually mean acceleration, not deltaV. So 10m/s/s. I got around to calculate the actual deltaV of the Hermes with ice in the H2 generator and full tanks, and it turns out to be around 6500m/s

DeltaV is a technical way of saying the rate of acceleration, I find it to be a useful stat to define how sluggish or nimble the vehicle is. In this case a it takes about 10 seconds for the Hermes to reach 100m/s of velocity.

Very nice design, low mass, functional but also with style. Great work! However I don't understand what the 10.5m/s deltaV means, surely it has better performance?
