Description
Spiff's Practical Engineered Solutions, a division of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, presents the Mole Moon Miner mk3, a vanilla small-grid design without mods, and contains no rotors or pistons making it a perfect survival-ready solution for large mining projects. This revised version of Mole Moon Miner mk2 includes a significant revision to the hydrogen supply system and thruster design supplement the large hydrogen tank with 24 small hydrogen tanks giving this miner even greater range and operational time; the hydrogen thruster system was balanced by minimizing fuel consumption while increasing acceleration. The defensive gatling guns were exchanged for a single railgun as being significantly more effective in hostile regions.

Designed as a high-capacity vertical miner, the Mole Moon Miner mk3 extracts ores effortlessly with its 16 optimally-spaced drills, automatically ejecting waste stone, and transports ore in 4 large and 4 medium cargo containers. Power is supplied by 4 large batteries. Utilizing hydrogen thrusters, the Mole Moon Miner mk3 operates equally well in space, and on moons and planets, but with restricted ore capacity when gravity exceeds 0.25g. These features make the Mole Moon Miner mk3 a perfect solution for the player who needs to get to an ore deposit, quickly extract a large quantity of ore, and get back home again in a challenging environment.

NOTES FOR BUILDING WITH A PROJECTOR IN SURVIVAL
(See the last picture for the projector's configuration.)
1. Build a rotor frame on a powered grid; remove the large-grid rotor head and replace with a small-grid rotor head and lock rotation.
2. Stack 6 armor blocks, minimum, vertically atop the small-grid rotor head to provide sufficient clearance for building the miner.
3. Build a small-grid projector on top of the topmost armor block; for consistency, rename the projector to be "MM - Projector".
4. Load the blueprint into the projector; click on the setting to retain the blueprint after construction is complete.
5. Build the blueprint.
6. When completed, grind away the small-grid rotor head, armor blocks, and rotor frame, leaving the projector in place for future repairs.

Thanks. I stacked up and way behind with a bunch of builds that I've been testing extensively in survival. I've got to get off my butt and start dumping them to the workshop. And I really need to up the gee-whiz factor with my builds. Sure, I make sure they do what I've designed them to do, but they're pretty plain. Sigh.

So glad to see you're still posting builds Spiff, I never stopped being a fan. Also, nice miner!
