god that thumbnail would make a fantastic backdrop for a barren planet

I really really dig what this mod does to the early-game: leaving the player to the whims of the worldgen by taking away the universally perfect lush starting planet. Combined with other mods, it can create a deeply compelling situation of being truly stranded in space where only your wits and tenacity can save you. it's incredibly refreshing

It’s probably possible to do this with like, 1 other mod at most and a smidge of cheating (that being that idle drill mod As i know sometimes gateways spawn can spawn on different lush planets, or alternatively spawn a gateway in

@FUS damn
But anyway, i find coding hard (especially for teardown at the moment) so if i ever need to make a script for something im making i usually just frankenstine what ever already existing scripts i need into the one i need lol

I'll let you in on a company secret, but JSON patching is actually fully automated, there are websites where you can just copy-in the original file with any comments removed, copy it with the changes you want into another field, and it'll write the patch code for you.
The rest is just you checking that the paths are correct (there are validators for that too), putting the patch(es) into the correct folder(s), and testing that the patch actually functions.

This is the one what I use: https:// chbrown .github .io/rfc6902/
And this page is entirely dedicated to Starbound JSONs, and where I first found it: https:// helmet .kafuka .org/sbmods/json/

@FUS ight lol
I never usually actually ask for stuff to be made by someone anymore as I've realised for alot of people coding is not easy nor fun

It's alright, I had a feeling you were joking there

@FUS don’t worry lol, not being serious about asking you to make it FU compatible
