Description
Here is the beautiful (and sadly short lived) SS Normandie of Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (or French Line).

She entered service in 1935, and was the largest ship ever built at the time. Normandie also took the Blue Riband from her British rival, the RMS Queen Mary, before the latter captured the Blue Riband again. However, her career was cut short due to the outbreak of WW2 in 1939. She remained in New York after France fell to the German invasion of the country, and was seized by the US Navy after the United States joined the war in 1941. In 1942, the US Navy planned to convert her into a troopship and renamed her to the USS Lafayette, but during conversion, she caught fire and capsized in her pier. In 1943, in an attempt to refloat her, her superstructure was removed and her hull was placed in a drydock. She remained in drydock until 1946, when her remains were sold for scrap after plans to salvage her further proved too costly.

Also included is her cancelled running mate Bretagne. She was planned to be much larger than Normandie, but was cancelled due to the German invasion of France. There were 2 designs: a "conservative" design that looked similar to Normandie, and a "radical" design proposed by Vladimir Yourkevitch (Normandie's designer) with a much more streamlined appearance.

And lastly, SS Colossal, a ship based on Normandie used in the film "The Big Broadcast of 1938".

Includes skins for lights and alternative funnel and hull skins.

Has bodygroups for rigging, funnels (+ rigging), propellers (Normandie), lifeboats, anchors, glass, names, and pools.
Normandie's refitted model includes a hypothetical post war alternative for the 3rd funnel (concept by Fabrizio).

If you want the model to float:
-Download Buoyancy Tool, and set the value to what ever you want.

The models are realistically scaled, so use Collision Resizer if you want to make them smaller.

this is a long shot but can you make more great lake cargo ships ? I know the only other note worthy ones are the SS Arthur M. Anderson for obvious reasons and the SS Carl D. Bradley or a in scale with the Edmund Fitzgerald M/V Paul R. Tregurtha just to compare .

I'm just more of a fan for the great lake cargo ships then anything else.....bet you can't guess what section of the U.S I live in, If I hadn't already said in the Edmund Fitzgerald thread

Before I wasn't able to add a wheel for Bretagne, but I now I can for some reason, so that's been added.

Also fixed that other bug.
