Information for Travellers

The Anselhome system contains six rocky worlds and one gas giant.

The Anselhome system is a P-Type binary where all the planets orbit both stars.

The Anselhome system is part of the Entropic Worlds.

The Anselhome system is a member of the Sword Worlds Confederation.

The Anselhome system has a Class C Starport that supplies unrefined Starship fuel. Unrefined Starship fuel can also be harvested from the gas giant.

Anselhome is a cold, Non-industrial moon with a Trace atmosphere – most sophonts must wear a vac suit to survive – and no water orbiting the gas giant Lysandra.

Anselhome is reliant on off-world traders bringing in goods to maintain TL-8.

The moon Anselhome is crisscrossed by a number of deep cracks that contain the Trace atmosphere. These cracks harbour a unique biome of lichen-type plants that have evolved to metabolise heavy metals.

A special team of biochemists are currently engaged in a longterm study of these organisms.

The Darrians set up a mining base on the moon Anselhome around -1000. After the Maghiz in -924 Anselhome was cut off from other Darrian worlds, and its population died out.

Rumours persist that the old Darrian mining base is still hidden somewhere under Amselhome's surface just waiting to be rediscovered.

After the system was surveyed in -271 independent prospectors set up mining operations. While heavily reliant on Darrian traders Anselhome maintained a high degree of independence.

In 420 the main mining settlement was recognised as the official Government. Anselhome is governed by a Civil Service Bureaucracy. This Bureaucracy has survived the invasions and occupations of the Frontier Wars, calmly adapting to any change in external leadership.

The Sword Worlds Confederation gained control of Anselhome in 1084.

The simulation is currently stable, but that might change when running the simulation forward.
