Booster Juice

Description
This mod introduces fertilizer for trees and bushes, which speeds up the growth.

Fertilizer can be produced in the "chemist" building, which has been placed under the science tab. The chemist has two recipes to create fertilizer, one mild, one strong. These are two different recipes for the same good, fertilizer. The effect is the same. The mild recipe uses ingredients available earlier in the game, and produces less fertilizer. The strong uses late-game ingredients, but just produces more fertilizer at once.

Fertilizer is pumped into the ground by the "fertilizer dump" found in the wood group. The fertilizer is applied to range around the building. Every hour, an amount of fertilizer is used to increase tree growth within this range, and with each hour, the growth increase effect is a bit less. Over a full 24 hours the growth can be increased by a maximum of 100%. With the start of a new day, the increase effect is started again. This means, the longer the fertilizer dump is active, the faster trees grow. The applied effect of each day can be seen in the fertilizer dump building panel. The tree panels also show the effect of the growth. Besides the growth of trees, the growth of the yield (pine resin, chestnuts, etc.) can also be increased. This effect can be enabled or disabled in the fertilizer dump.

Furthermore, the fertilizer usage depends on the amount of trees being influenced. If all trees in range of a fertilizer dump are fully grown, no fertilizer is dumped anymore.

@Smaxta, thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it. I agree with your suggestions. But for now, further modelling is outside of my scope. Anyhow, I'll keep it in mind when I get back to Timberborn modding.

Super nicely made mod! A lot attention to details, whaat is outstanding. Plays well on Mac. The only, what I would like to see- some smoke or light (or anything) in time work in progress.

@Lucy Swan,
I haven't checked recently with the latest game updates in May, but haven't had complaints so far. It's been running on experimental 7 for a few months now. I'll check it out on the weekend.

Has anyone ever seen that trees are getting ready really faster? I checked that several times and for me this seems not to change anything.

Hello makoaluveaux. I'm sorry, I don't understand your question. If it is in reference to the ingredients of the recipes, then yes. You'll need various ingredients to create fertilizer. However, there are just two different recipes to create the same fertilizer.
To create fertilizer, you'll need a chemist building. And to fertilize the trees, the fertilizer dump.
If this doesn't answer your question, then please add some context to you question.

Does it require ALL of the components to make these?

@Maoman:
Thanks for your feedback. I'll take it into consideration. The recipes have changed a few times, but I haven't looked into the gain / cost ratio lately. For me, it was mainly about being able to have an alternative, given a persons playstyle or available resources. But not them necessarily being "more worth it".
