Marks of Chaos.pack

Description
Hello everyone! I apologize in advance for my bad English. The purpose of this mod is to expand the various variations of the Warriors of Chaos game race. Until now, I consider the Warriors of Chaos unfinished in terms of the line of units. When creating the mod, I followed 2 concepts: 1. The Warriors of Chaos and the Chosen should have 3 variations of weapons - halberds and swords / axes and shields, as well as distinctive weapons that are not available to others. Chaos Undivided has Great Weapons, Khorne has Dual Weapons, Slaanesh has Hellscourges. And what about Nurgle and Tzeentch? Then I really liked the work of the authors of the mod - "Patron Gods". However, their vision was different from my concept. Nevertheless, I liked that for Nurgle, the unique weapon will be Scythe, and for Tzeentch - Glaives. 2. I really liked the idea of adding marauder throwers to the Warriors of Chaos, and these units were again in the "Patron Gods" mod. I used these concepts in my mod. For the basis of my mod, I used mods from modder Childo. At the same time, I changed many parameters. I like the vanilla faction, so I tried to make my mod close to the vanilla version.

So, what does the mod bring:

Chaos Undivided:
- Marauder Hunters (Throwing Axes)
- Chaos Warriors reskin, I removed the bald heads

Mark of Khorne:
- Aspiring Champions of Khorne (Dual Weapons)
- Chosen of Khorne (Halberds)
- Marauder Hunters of Khorne (Throwing Axes)
I also added Cloak to all new and vanilla Chaos Warriors of Khorne variations

Mark of Tzeentch:
- Aspiring Champions of Tzeentch (Glaives)
- Chosen of Tzeentch (Glaives)
- Chaos Warriors of Tzeentch (Glaives)
- Marauder Hunters of Tzeentch (Javelins)
- Gorebeast Chariot of Tzeentch
- Chaos Warhounds (Tzeentch)

Mark of Nurgle:
- Aspiring Champions of Nurgle (Scythe)
- Chosen of Nurgle (Halberds)
- Chaos Warriors of Nurgle (Halberds)
- Marauder Hunters of Nurgle (Throwing Axes)
- Gorebeast Chariot of Nurgle
Also changed vanilla units
- Chaos Warriors of Nurgle (Scythe)
- Chosen of Nurgle (Scythe)
- Marauders of Nurgle (Scythe)

Mark of Slaanesh:
- Aspiring Champions of Slaanesh (Hellscourges)
- Chosen of Slaanesh (Halberds)
- Chaos Warriors of Slaanesh (Halberds)
- Marauder Hunters of Slaanesh (Javelins)
- Gorebeast Chariot of Slaanesh
- Chaos Warhounds (Slaanesh)

Minor changes:
- Chaos Marauders (Great Weapons) - 2 levels
- Chaos Knights of Khorne (Lances) - 3 levels
- Chaos Knights of Tzeentch (Lances) - 3 levels
- Chaos Knights of Nurgle (Lances) - 3 levels
- Chaos Knights of Slaanesh (Lances) - 3 levels
- Chosen (Great Weapons) - 4 levels
- Chaos Warriors of Khorne (Dual Weapons) - 2 levels
- Chosen of Tzeentch (Halberds) - 3 levels
- Chosen of Slaanesh (Hellscourges) - 4 levels
- increased the size of Kholek Suneater
- Prince Sigvald has the same icon as LL Slaanesh (pink)
- reskinned Daemonettes of Slaanesh, now they have 2 breasts
- Tamurkhan and Kayzk are also duplicated by the Warriors of Chaos in custom/multiplayer battles
- Toad Dragon moved to the main units
- War Mammoth added to the Warriors of Chaos lineup as an additional campaign unit
- Added missing demonic units to the same branch

I am very grateful to the mod authors whose work I used (reskins, icons, weapons, units, ideas or concepts):
1. Warriors of Khorne - Ghildo
2. Warriors of Nurgle - Ghildo
3. Warriors of Tzeentch - Ghildo
4. Warriors of Slaanesh - Ghildo
5. Patron Gods (Updated for 5.2) - 6 mod authors
6. Lost & Found Chaos: Sigvald, Champion of Slaanesh - greenphoenix23
7. Rayes Extended Slaanesh Units - Iareshawn
8. Rayes Extended Khorne Units - Iareshawn
9. Guv's Larger Kholek Mod (WH3) (Updated Patch 5.2 / 2024-08-22) - Guvenoren
10. Female Daemonettes - The Rogue Roman
11. Chaos Marauder Expansion - Dead Baron

I would like to thank Singemeister for his help and advice. If it weren't for Singemeister's help with various mod-related issues, I wouldn't be able to release it! Thank you very much!)

The mod is not finished yet, for example I would like to change some icons, bring them closer to a more vanilla version, or for example I need reskins of such units as Chaos Warhounds (variations) and Gorebeast Chariot (variations), but I do not have the knowledge to do it myself. Therefore, if you have a desire to help me, I will be grateful to you.

HotPizza87 - Of course, I will try to update this mod, but unfortunately I have neither the time nor the desire to calculate the tables of the units you described.

How are those changes coming? I'm following this mod, checking every so often what you're doing with it so I can play it when it's ready

Marauder Hunters of Slaanesh need to be given the Mark of Slaanesh, Immune to Psychology and 5% physical resistance.
Marauder Hunters of Nurgle need HP to go up to 6600 and they need Hide (forest).
Marauder Hunters of Khorne need 20 more armour (matches their Furies and Horsemen).

All of the marked Marauder Hunters need more upkeep. Use the same percentage increases vs Undivided Marauders that CA's marked Marauders use. Eg Undivided Marauders 94 upkeep, Marauders of Slaanesh cost 112, so for the Hunters of Slaanesh you'd go +19% which is 164. Given that's quite high for a Hunters unit you'd also match them up with the Undivided ones to have Shieldbreaker and armour piercing. Also I don't know why you made their melee combat stats significantly worse than the other ones.

I'll leave it there, plenty to be getting on with!

I could be wrong on this stuff because it's possible the version I've downloaded from Steam isn't the current one I've had that issue before with other mods.

One more thing. The Warhounds of Tzeentch and Slaanesh you made were not given vanguard deployment, whereas all of CA's Chaos Warhounds do have it. I'm also not seeing any physical resistance or 5 more speed on the Slaanesh one. You've given both of them 100 upkeep, but CA's Warhounds of Khorne and Warhounds with Poison have 113 upkeep, so basically 13 more upkeep should go on the Tzeentch and Slaanesh ones.

I think there's also a potential issue with your upkeep pricing on the marked Aspiring Champions. You priced them the same as the Undivided ones, but they should all be more expensive than them because they all have clear advantages over them, especially considering they can all get the same buffs from the tech tree which include barrier and regeneration.

That's another issue as well. Why would Aspiring Champions of Nurgle be able to summon Pink Horrors? Why would Aspiring Champions that are not Undivided or of Khorne be able to get Hellblade. And so on. So change the tech tree to match up those mark-specific abilities to the Aspiring Champions of each mark as well as the Undivided ones (whose key advantage over the marked Aspiring Champions is that they can get all 4 abilities).

I hope you find all this is constructive. That's the intention.

Quite a big issue with the Chosen of Khorne (Halberds) you made is that they have 7200 HP but the other two Chosen of Khorne which CA made have 10480! Weirdly, the Chosen of Khorne Halberds you made have less HP than CA's Warriors of Khorne (Halberds) which have 9000 health.
