The Salmon Run

Description
THE SALMON RUN

Colonize the 16 salmon-filled lagoons, but beware of the native brown bears and Kobolds !

Objectives:

1- After arriving on Salmon Island, your Vikings have already started preparing their fishing gear, chilling their beer, and sharpening their swords.
2- Start exploring the island and its dangers.
3- There are abandoned fishing huts from previous festivals. Take the opportunity to check for supplies.
4- Be careful. Greedy brown bears and treacherous native Kobolds live off fishing in the region and don't like outsiders.
5- Tip: remember that your White War Bear also likes fish and when near lakes, he can heal his wounds with salmon.
6- Occupy 16 territories full of fish to win the Salmon Run Festival
7- Celebrate your victory with lots of beer and fish barbecue!

The Story of "The Great Salmon Race Festival"

Every September, when the air is crisp, and the rivers are teeming with salmon, the Bear Clan of Vikings sets sail for the legendary Salmon Island. This time of year marks the Annual Salmon Race Festival, a celebration filled with beer, grilled salmon, and fierce fishing competitions. The goal? To catch the most salmon from the numerous fish-filled lagoons scattered across the island.

As the Viking longships approached the shores of Salmon Island, the Bear Clan's chief raised his beer mug high. "To salmon! To victory! And to more salmon!" he roared, earning a deafening cheer from his crew.

The festival began with the Vikings invading the lagoons, nets and fishing rods in hand, their beards dripping with enthusiasm (and beer). But this year, something unexpected happened. The lagoons, typically quiet and serene, were already occupied by the island's inhabitants: grumpy brown bears and mischievous kobolds, who didn't take kindly to these rowdy Viking intruders.

Orlloff, a particularly eager Viking known for his impressive fish-catching skills, was the first to encounter the residents. As he dipped his net into a lagoon, a massive brown bear emerged from the bushes, growling and blocking his path. The bear looked at Bjorn, then at the fish in his hand, then back at Bjorn. It seemed to raise an eyebrow, if bears had eyebrows.

The bear growled louder, clearly uninterested in making friends. Before Orlloff could react, a kobold popped up from the reeds, yanking the salmon right out of Orlloff's hands and darting back into the bushes with a cackle.

Chaos erupted as more bears and kobolds emerged, turning the peaceful lagoons into a battlefield of fur, scales, and Viking beards. Vikings chased bears, bears chased kobolds, and kobolds ran around stealing fish from everyone. The festival grounds quickly turned into a slippery mess of salmon and spilled beer.

The Warchief, seeing the chaos unfold, raised his mug again, this time with a grin. "New rule!" he shouted. "First Viking to wrestle a bear and steal back a salmon gets a keg of ale!"

The Vikings cheered, taking the challenge with gusto, and the Great Salmon Race Festival turned into the Great Salmon Wrestling Match. It was a sight to behold: Vikings laughing, bears growling, kobolds shouting , and salmon flopping everywhere.

And so, every September, the Bear Clan returned to Salmon Island, not just for the fish but for the fun, fight and, of course, the unforgettable chaos.

thats a nice idea.
but it would be better if you add more threats, or some mercenaries arriving at our base or in other corners they could arrive and start a base too to compete for the salmon

also, would be interesting to make gather a quantity as a victory condition, like 1000 food
