Information for Travellers

The Tizon system contains fifteen rocky worlds, two asteroid belts and three gas giants.

At some point in the distant past Tizon’s star El Cid captured the smaller star Bucar, creating a P-Type binary system.

The Tizon system sits on the border between the Sword Worlds and both Darria and the Imperium. The Class B Starport provides refined fuel processed from Tizon’s oceans.

Tizon hosts a Sword Worlds naval base and a military base.

Tizon sits on the Gram Arm, an important Jump-1 trade route.

The Tizon system is a member of the Sword Worlds Confederation.

The planet Tizon is a cold, Rich meso world with a Dense atmosphere and a large amount of surface water.

The planet Tizon has a thriving biome that includes species now extinct on their native Darria.

Tizon is an important system in the Sword Worlds Confederation. It was the capital of the Tizon Empire that ruled an area of space from 281 till 581. It is an important bulwark against the Darrian/Imperium alliance and played an important role in the Frontier Wars.

The planet Tizon was originally settled by the Darrians in the -1000s. The planet was in the process of being terraformed when the Maghiz in -924 lead to the abandonment of the system.

This incomplete terraforming has left the planet Tizon with a dense cloud cover that limits the amount of sunlight that reaches the surface. When settlers arrived in – 387 from the Old Earth Union they reoccupied the Darrian colony.

Tizon is governed by a Civil Service Bureaucracy that includes representatives from the Sword Worlds navy and military. The population of 372,000,000 of mostly human sophonts focuses their energy on trade, science, and the arts.

Due to this Tizon is far more welcoming to outsiders than is the norm among the Sword Worlds Confederation.

The simulation is currently stable, but that might change when running the simulation forward.
