Infinite, also known as the Ultimate Mercenary, is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
He is an anthropomorphic jackal and the former captain of the Jackal Squad mercenary group.
During a raid, Infinite was hired by Dr. Eggman to become the leader of the Eggman Army, only for him and his squad to fall at the hands of Shadow the Hedgehog while protecting one of Eggman's facilities.
Ashamed of his loss, Infinite decided to obtain the power of the Phantom Ruby not only as a means of becoming stronger, but also to abandon his weak past self.

With his newfound power, Infinite aided Eggman by helping him expand the Eggman Empire to its largest size to date after defeating Sonic the Hedgehog.
Near the end of the war with the Resistance though, Infinite engaged Sonic and the Avatar on multiple occasions until he was defeated during the decisive battle for the planet and consumed by the Phantom Ruby.

Before the era of Johnyc…

Infinite lived with the other hedgehog, he was one of great scientific of the world.
He deiceded to change the metabolism of the hedgehog with the chaos emeralds.
He take baby hedgehog who was 1 month and he was bringing in pieces of chaos emeralds on their DNA.
He created a lot of copy of pieces of chaos emeralds.
And the baby become Super hedgehog with a great strength.
But one day, the other hedgehog know what happen and the concil of the hedgehog decide to exil Intinite with the baby out the earth.
After that Infinite take his revenge and create an empire with the future baby.
Since this day the hedgehog and the super hedgehog become enemy.

During the era of Dark Cynhoj…

Infinite tru to find a way to go to the future and conquer the future.
After the defeat of Zeta against Zack, she come back to Infinite.
But Dark Cynhoj come to kill Infinite.
During his fight Zeta sacrificed her life to allow Infinite to go into the future.
And Infinite go to the future in era of Sonic…
