This mod has been discontinued. It should still function in future updates but I am no longer going to be updating it.

A simple patch mod that prevents the Ancient Exostrider Remains from spawning, meaning the only way to get Mechlinks is via a Mechanitor Complex quest.

I'm well aware of the Starting Scenario option to disable it spawning, but I'm never gonna remember to set that up. A mod is just more convenient. I just felt that it would be interesting to do some colonies where I don't have instant access to mechs for a while.


Safe to be removed mid-save.
Won't have any effect on already generated maps, use dev mode.
