Description
Buffalo Hill - Reaching for the Sky

Originally posted by Warning:
This map is mostly completed, but still in development. There are a couple of glitches, but these will not be fixed for at least 3 months from it's release on the Workshop. Feel free to report any glitching you see in the forum, and they will be fixed in the impending update.

The cave system is especially glitchy and potentially game-breaking, and I recommend waiting for an update before entering them. The only entrance is marked with warning signs. You can't miss it.

"Dust off your spurs and tip back your hat, the scenery of Buffalo Hill is unmatched with its rolling hills, staggering cliffsides, and bountiful waterways. With a quaint main street lined with stores and a tight-knit community populating the well-lit streets, Buffalo Hill has all the charm of a northwest American small-town. Granted, those streets have potholes and the lamp-lights tend to flicker with the struggling infrastructure of the stagnant town."

Made for the roleplay server Lockdown RP. Buffalo Hill is meant to simulate a modern frontier-like town with explorable POIs, detailed aesthetic, and roleplay necessities.

Exists west of West Point.

Massive thank you to everyone on the PZ Map Maker discord -- so helpful, and provides so many resources to jump into making maps easily.

And especially thank you to the staff on Lockdown RP. They helped with doing exteriors, and interiors for many buildings on the map, and providing emotional support!

Note: Mountain tiles are for aesthetics only. I don't recommend building stairs to scale up them unless there is a natural path that has lead you up already. They could break your game.

There are some weird things at the baity shop with the place where people put they boats (I don't know what is they name, english isn't my first language) that they are like invisible walls that don't let you walk at the end of it

it's pretty annoying because i want to make my base there :steamsad:

Hey i figured I would post this here, I may be wrong or it may just be happening to me but i think one of the tile packs is broken. I have a bunch of mods installed and everything works fine, but when i goto download this, it crashes the game when i goto load in. Ive tried turning the mod on and off and it only crashes when i have the map and tile packs active.

I will say tho that I also tried playing with Monmouth County and it also had the same result, so my guess is that one of the tile packs needs updating or something.

Sad i cant play the map currently but really looking forward to!!

It is now on Map Mod Manager, which is amazingly helpful. I cannot wait to find my way into this town. ^_^

My previous comment seems to be an issue on the Map Mod Manager side, when it pulls date from the Workshop. I have informed them ^_^

Strange thing, this doesn't show up on the Map Mod Manager, I am not sure if that is an issue on their end or this end. I will be posting a similar comment there on that mod as well.

Just FYI this doesn’t show up in the map mod manager for some reason. Made it very difficult to pinpoint why some things weren’t spawning!
