Description
This mod adds several console commands related to lighting (environmental) maps:

ShowActiveLightingMap: Type it in the console to view the name of the currently active lighting map.
Useful when making your own changes to the lighting map roster in the XComMaps.ini file, or for other debugging purposes. The console command works in both tactical and strategy layers.

ForceLightingMap: Enter this command along with the lighting map filename to force the map to appear upon loading a tactical save, regardless of settings in the lighting map roster.

Example use:
ForceLightingMap EnvLighting_StarryNight

RevertLighting: Reverts changes imposed by the command above.

Thanks to Dragon32 for the idea.

Awesome, thank you!

On another note, just got the EnvLighting_Day on an underground map and it doesn't feel right :) Unless they have some Khazad Dum type of outside lighting coming in :)

@prokolyo Yes, but you need to reload a save. So you do this:
1) Make a save of your current mission if you need to
2) Type the command: ForceLightingMap [Map Name]
3) Reload the same save.

If you do not want the same map to appear when the save is loaded, use the RevertLighting command.

Hm, the last change, does it mean we can change the lighting while in mission?

This sounds pretty useful. Any chance of a command for listing out all available lighting maps in-game? Could be handy, too.

Pretty helpful. Was wondering how to find the lightning map in play, as it's not logged and not shown with x2DebugMap. Thanks Aquilio, this is next level of support.

Wow. Thanks, dude. Most unexpected to see this, but really appreciated.
