EMD SDP40F Base

Description
Basically the SDP40F was a passenger locomotive, built with Santa Fe's FP45 as a basis, that was built between 1973 and 1974, two to three years after Amtrak started operations, and saw 150 examples solely for Amtrak. The locomotive, for a short time, had become the backbone of the long-distance fleet operated by Amtrak but, following several issues and derailments in the mid-70s, not only did Amtrak lost its confidence in the locomotive, but several other railroads banned it from running in their tracks. Eventually, in 1977, they were ultimately replaced by the F40PH and Amtrak's roster of SDP40Fs was traded to the Santa Fe, that soon rebuilt them and designated them as SDF40-2s. Upon the Santa Fe and the Burlington Northern merging to become BNSF, the SDP40Fs / SDF40-2s saw their retirement in 2002. Today, however, one example of this locomotive model remains in preservation, that unit being former Amtrak SDP40F #644. This model aims to recreate the real-life locomotive as close as possible. It includes bell audio, 3-part horn audio (Amtrak K5LA), smoke particles (start-up and running smoke) and also engine audio (16-645E). Edits and liveries are allowed, just credit me and mark this as required.
