Description

Sukapon from 'Joy Mech Fight'. Sukapon is a defensive character with mix-ups and burst moves to escape pressure. Sprites and coding by Pallukun. Additional coding help provided by Mr Nart and Lukaru. Victory theme arranged by Room 100. Sukapon and Joy Mech Fight belong to Nintendo.

Sukapon is very slow horizontally, but several attacks provide additional movement. The low speed is compensated with tall jumps and low gravity and fall speed; it can spend a lot of time airborne, using lingering aerials to cordon off the stage.

Neutral special: Sukapon Throw
A throwing technique that sends behind you. Useful for reversals and setting up an edgeguard.

Side special: Sukapon Roll
Cartwheels forward to strike with the body. Walking in one direction then smash-inputting in the opposite gives it a massive speed boost and skips start lag. Can be cancelled.

Down special: Tondeker
Uses your head as a projectile - you can adjust the speed by holding back or forward.

Up special: Uchuu Copter
A high kick, backspin, and roundhouse. Doesn't cover a lot of vertical distance, but moves you forward slightly.

Special input: Nonsense
Mash Attack to perform a rapid punch attack that quickly builds up damage. Doesn't have to be done out of jab.

Character keeps falling out of moves

Hey awesome mod! My only gripe with it is some moves by opponents fail to fully connect (specifically command grabs and multi-hits) due to his "canon hitboxes". While I do like it normally, it would be nice if his hurtbox size increased while he's in hitstun so I don't fall out of moves and my friends don't think he's unfair to play against.
