The Beretta 92 was the natural development of the Beretta pistol designs that started in the 20th century. By the 70s, all the the features and inspirations in the handgun market would coalesce into the 92, which would become ubiquitous through most of the world, over time.

We’re not doing the m4 or m16a4 for the Cold war collection as they were developed outside of that timeframe (1945 - 1991)
If we did a WOT Collection it would be a different story.
