The Sunken Dutchman

Description
An Abomination. That is what many are calling it. And they are right. A mobile pirate stronghold, forged together from the wrecks of their enemies. Many of the common submarines that are found on Europa have been crudely integrated into the hull of this vessel. Some parts still recognisable, just more rusty, while other parts are vastly different, like the fact that it is using an entire barsuk as a ballast tank. Armed with many hardpoints, and two reactors stacked on top of each other.

This is the ingame description for the Sunken Dutchman.

It is simply put: A ship created from parts from several other default submarines. It has parts from:

Kastrull
Humpback
Barsuk
Winterhalter
Camel
Herja
Remora

The airlock, engine and reactor compartments are taken from the Kastrull, and has been modified to fit a more scrappy looking theme. What would be a fun way to do that you ask? Well why don't we just put to reactors ontop of each other, what couldd possibly go wrong!? Engine has also been slightly tweaked.

The front part is from the Humpback, and has been more modified than most parts of the sub. The navigation panel has been rerouted to steer the drone, which has been made to fit where the old airlock and airlock access previously was. The front ballast tank has been turned into ammunition storage, and the medbay have been repurposed to fit more periscopes. And deconstructor and fabricator has been removed to fit a vending machine.

The barsuk serves only one purpose in this submarine: Acting as a ballast tank.
It has been completely transformed internally into a wreck and set at an slight angle to better strap onto the rest of the sub.

The Research compartment from the Winterhalter has become the heart of the Sunken Dutchman, providing access and, well, research. And also medical equipment.

From the Camel, one hump has been stolen, aswell as the connecting corridor with the fabricator and deconstructor.

The top of the Herja has provided a railcannon hardpoint, airlock, dockingport and oxygengenerator.

Lastly is the drone from the Remora. Unmoddified, except for the fact that it now has a bigger hardpoint hanging from chains and wires on the underside of the drone, as the last one was much too small.

The entire submarine has also been slightly modified to give it a slighty scrappier look. There are more rust decals, more wires coming off the engine and reactors. Some additional junctionboxes have been setup with what looks like sheet metal and nails.

I wanted each part of the ship to be recognizable by people that have previously used each sub, but still be slightly different.

Also, here is the link for the drone seperatly, as requested by booper02: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3332448509

Сделай 2 реактора, часть коробок на один а часть на другой,
либо чтобы мощности одного реактора не хватало для плаванья.
Реакторы желательно поставить в разных местах для большей аутентичности.

Darn, worth a try tho.

In that case another idea, a button which causes forced flooding of more parts of the ship.
Would also have it live up to the name more.
A suggested spot if this is implemented would be the Camel portion as camels store water(sort of) in their humps.
And since the storage units are water proof you won't need to worry about accidentally blowing your sub to pieces if the cargo is water sensitive.

Welp, better late than never: I have now removed all previous versions, so that it should only include "The Sunken Dutchman", as well as the shuttle, "The Sunken Dutchman's Testicle". The broken bot pathing should be fixed, as the latest version was the one that was simply called: The Sunken Dutchman .

In regards to TorgueUsers comment, I didn't want to modify the layout of the original submarines too much, so if there is not already a bottom hatch in an appropriate place, I would not like to add one.

In regards to Kaizer's comment: I will take another look on the bot waypoints and see if I can improve it.
Also, WTF WHY ARE ALL PREVIOUS VERSIONS INCLUDED, I HAD NO IDEA?!
Thanks for the Info!

Bot pathing is broken in a few spots, particularly on ladders where either the ladder waypoint goes into the ground or you don't have proper transitions off of the ladder. It'd also be nice if it didn't have 12 different numbered versions (I am assuming Final 2 is the latest one)

Btw i'd like to point out that as it's now possible to dock the sub with beacon stations and other subs having a docking port at the bottom or a makeshift "anchor" to latch onto stations would be nice.
It doesn't even need to be used as an actual docking port just a means for players to not have to worry about the sub(s) going on a vacation without you inside it.
I don't know how people do it but i have seen some movable parts on subs capable of moving lockers and such in and out of the sub.

It's horrible, an insult to shipyards. I love it !
