Yoiko [Dungeons & Dragons]

Yoiko, hailing from New Aether, rolls into Smack Studio! With inhuman agility and an uncountable amounts of tricks up her sleeve, Yoiko brings a heavy sense of comboability and technicality. Using her aerial attacks to send the opponents barreling to the ground, she gets advantage on her next attack if she can predict where they recover, though her range is a little lacking.

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: FIst of Unbroken Air

Yoiko summons a swirling wind and concentrates it around her fist. She strikes out with condensed bursts of air which stretch out beyond her normal reach. This move can be charged up by holding down the special button, doing more damage the longer it's charged

UP SPECIAL: Burning Hands Cannon
Yoiko ignites flames to incapsulate her metal gauntlets, and uses them as a propulsion upwards, striking anyone on her way up.

SIDE SPECIAL [GROUND]: Step Of The Wind Slam
Yoiko manifests an afterimage made of Ki, and it rushes forward in a straight line. If it makes contact with a target, Yoiko will use this oppurtunity to attack the restrained foe, rushing foward and spiraling into a downward slam!

SIDE SPECIAL [AIR]: Wave Crashing Fist
Yoiko shoots forward with a gust of wind, lacing her fist with a torrent of water. When in range of an opponent, she shoots her fist down, sending them flying towards the ground.

DOWN SPECIAL [GROUND]: Patient Defense: Enduring Mountain Stance
Yoiko's Ki roots her feet down to the ground, making her temporarily immovable. If hit, she deflects the attack, and uses the Ki to charge a stunning strike, putting her in Stunning Strike Stance. While in this stance, her movement speed slightly increases, and her next use of Patient Defense: Enduring Mountain Stance becomes Stunning Strike.

DOWN SPECIAL [DURING STUNNING STRIKE STANCE]: Stunning Strike
Yoiko lashes forward with a single blow, interfering with the Ki flow in her opponents body. Their constitution weakens, and they're stunned for a short amount of time.

DOWN SPECIAL [AIR]: Absorb Elements
Yoiko reacts to incoming damage by creating a barrier of fire. If hit while this barrier is active, she resists incoming damage, reducing the damage received. Be careful, however, as Yoiko can only use this move once in the air before needing to return to the ground.

SPOT DODGE + SPECIAL: Mold Earth
Yoiko manifests a chunk of gravel and dirt from the ground to create a high wall, which can be used as a combo tool, as well as protecting from projectiles.

ULTRA: Distracting Bakusai Tenketsu Strike
Yoiko kicks with a Stunning Strike, incapacitating the opponent, before leaping in the air and slamming her Eversmoking Bottle into the ground, creating a cloud of smoke. With limited vision of Yoiko, the opponent is vulnerable to Yoiko's next critical hit, as she emerges from the cloud with a heavy punch!
