The appearance of this ship was due to the increasing number of frigates on the battlefields. To combat them, the development of the project was initiated, surpassing the opponent's ships in key parameters. Emphasis was placed on speed and firepower. It was decided to equip the project with 20 course railguns. To power the main energy consumers (railguns and jump engines) 80 small reactors + emergency power supply for 20MW were installed. In order to accelerate all this quickly, it was necessary to install an impressive array of trasters, which, in turn, required a large reserve of fuel in the amount of 237 million liters. The ship's voraciousness was a kind of payback for its high-speed qualities, but at the same time it can maintain maneuverable combat for quite a long time.
