Avali are naturally small, quite tiny, you maybe can get surprised about that. There is some mods like "SmolAvali", or "Size of Life - Framework", but sadly they are not finished or has some issues (This is for Size of Life Framework when you adjust ur Size and you try to Crouch or teleporting zones).

"SmollAvali" sadly was never finished and has so many bugs and errors, i feel is unplayable.

Starbound original has a bad function, while u character is more smol, it gonna start to float when is sleeping, sit, or making shoots with their weapons it will start to see the proyectiles a bit weird, this is important when you try to aim with your weapons. Plus Furnite of Avali are normal Size, which means its look weird too if u are super small having huge furniture

For fix this issues i decided to make this new versión from "Avali Height", increasing the size of the Avali a bit more, but not to much to keep the essence to be small and deadly.

This versión fix a lot of issues related to the hitbox when you interact with most of objects!.

Like we can noticed, with this mod the hitbox is more smooth and more playable. Of course if don't care tose details, you can be fine.

Higly recommended to play with OSB!
If u play with normal vanilla u will see a lots of issues with rendering and more things because the original game only manage vanilla sizes.

For a correct run you will need the next following mods:

- Race Traits NPC Addon
- Avali Triage (Mod)

With this mod NPC's and Members crew gonna get the same beneficies from your Avali race. Originally they don't have this effects and they are just a Vanilla NPC standart.


This mod only will apply the effects on New NPC's!, if you had camp of avali already discovered they will not gonna get the effects (Especially the size small). To see effects applied correctly u had to visit new planets where new Avali will generated.
Members Crew or Members who want to join to ur ship they gonna get the effect instantly at the moment!

You are totally safe to unistall this mod in case u don't like or something else, Don't unistall "Race Traits Addon" once this mod is installed and you run the game all NPC's and Members Crew gonna disapear... or you will gonna get only crashes.

Anyway Race Traits Addon is a pretty useful mod, keep it with you.

- Mobility+: U will find ur character floating?, and feeling more slow and stuck everytime with any block.

- Frackin' Universe: There is not issues with FU, but... since u need "Race Traits" and "Race traits - Addon" to make effects the small size to the Avali NPC's and Crew Members your weakness of Fire will stay as "-%80 instead of -%40" is not something biggest problem, but i have to clarify just in case! (In positive side u gain 80% Ice Resist).
