Level design, lighting, and atmosphere were all done perfectly. It's clear you put a lot of care into these aspects. Though I do think there's slightly too much clutter. I would recommend reducing it a bit in chapter two.
The concept of starting at the top of a large tower and having to descend to the bottom is very unique and works great for a custom story. The puzzles were fun and well-designed, but I did find the armor puzzle to be somewhat tedious. A walkthrough being included on the workshop page is very thoughtful.
The story is interesting and very well written so far. Voice acting is always appreciated and nice to see. It's also quite rare to see a collectible system in a custom story, but I always enjoy it when they're included.
This is already one of my favorites, I think. Excited to see what you cook up for chapter two!
Disadvantages:
- Lags. In some places, the gameplay lags and slows down.
- Very few encounters with the monster (only in one location).
- The monster is excessively fast and cannot be stunned by throwing objects at it. The player should be able to "fight" it.
In conclusion, I can say that you (the author) tried very well, you definitely have a talent for creating atmosphere. Don't be afraid to create more moments with the monster, otherwise the game will be too "empty" and easy. And please, make it so that the player can stun the monster with objects.
Good luck to you and thanks for the game.
Your mod has a great atmosphere (for me it even surpasses the original game). The idea of making a castle that is already empty, and the player slowly descends into its depths is brilliant. I'm really looking forward to the second chapter.
I want to describe all the advantages and disadvantages that I noted for myself.
Advantages:
+ Gorgeous atmosphere and the idea of an abandoned castle.
+ The game is not in a hurry to scare the player right away like most other games. The game gives time to get used to it and immerse yourself.
+ An interesting story that you want to unravel and understand what happened here.

Also theres too many unnecessary objects on the floor, which decreases performance in some places, and also "something" can get easily stuck on them
Other than that, great job
Got solflock slightly at the end because of a button couldn't be interacted with after a cutscene, but i fixed it by changing the order of what i did before interacting with the button.
also got spooked by the monster having no music or sounds.
