Yes, the both variants have differences both engine and tender, the Virginian variant of the engine has bold white railings on the top front of the engine (to access the smoke box), whilst the C&O variant just has black railings.
The tenders are way more obvious, the C&O lettered "Chesapeake and Ohio" and the Virginian railroad lettered Virginian respectively.
Is there a difference between the two.
