Spy Promotion Tree Rework

Description

Add new Spy promotion tree

Now Spy promotions has 4 level and 5 promotions per level. Still need completing missions to promote your spy.

Level 1

Guide
  • All units within 6 tiles gain +1 movement.

Instructor
  • +100% Production toward Spies from every Instructor in your Territory.

Persuader
  • Fabricate Scandal and Foment Unrest as if 3 levels more experienced.

Burglar
  • Great Work Heist and Steel Tech Boost as if 3 levels more experienced.

Transfiguration
  • Time to complete offensive missions reduced by 15%.

Level 2

Observer
  • +2 Sight Range, can see through terrain and features and reveal invisible units.

Cryptographer
  • If this Spy is in home territory, enemy Spies in your lands operate at 2 level below usual, all your Spies operate at +2 level.

Instigator
  • The target cities lose 1 citizen when Spy completes offensive operation.

Swindler
  • Siphon Funds improved 3 levels.
  • Gain +10% Great Merchant Points if the spy in a foreign city.

Linguist
  • Time to complete offensive missions reduced by 20%.

Level 3

Trail-blazer
  • Ignore movement penalty from all Terrians and Features because of your Trail-blazer's exploration.

Polygraph Operator
  • When Counter-spying all city districts are defended (and +1 level at districts within 1 hex).

Elite Demolitionist
  • Disrupt Rocketry, Sabotage Production, Neutralize Governor and Breach Dam as if 5 levels more experienced.

Heist Crew
  • Escape Success Rate Increased by 7 Levels.
  • When Spy completes offensive operation, receive 40 Gold for every level of the Spy.

Local Informant
  • Gain 1 Spy Recruit.

Level 4

Diplomatic Mediation
  • +5 Influence Points per turn.

Ruthless Interrogator
  • If this Spy is in home territory, enemy Spies in your lands operate at 2 level below usual.
  • When you captures or kills an enemy Spy, receive 100 [ICON_Science] Science for every level of the enemy Spy.

Resistance Leader
  • When Spy completes offensive operation, All Spies Below to Level 3 and within 9 Tiles get a promotion.

Criminal Schemer
  • When Spy completes offensive operation, receive 50 Science and 50 Culture.

Intricate Web-weaver
  • The City where Intricate Web-weaver is located lose 1 Citizen. Gain 1 Spy Recruit.

Also added some policy cards to strengthen spy:

Poliorcetes (Military)
  • Unlock on Scorched Earth.
  • When completing an offensive operation, Spy destroys Walls in target cities according to their promotions: Spies with 2 promotions destroy Ancient Walls, Spies with 3 promotions destroy Medieval Walls, Spies with 4 promotions destroy Renaissance Walls.

Scholar Spirit (Economic)
  • Unlock on Education.
  • When completing an offensive operation, Spy provide +5 [ICON_Science] Science and +5 [ICON_Culture] Culture, doubled if it has the Criminal Schemer promotion.

Diplomatic Spy (Diplomatic)
  • Unlock on Diplomatic Service.
  • +2 Influence Points per turn from each Spy, doubled if that Spy has the Diplomatic Mediation promotion.

Guerrilla Heroes (Military)
  • Unlock on Tactics.
  • When Spies with the Resistance Leader completing an offensive operation, combat units within 6 tiles receive a promotion if it has less than 3 promotions; otherwise, heal up to 30 hit points.

Torturer (Economic)
  • Unlock on Nationalism.
  • Player Cities gain +5% Food and Production if within 6 Tiles from Inquisitor.

I think i got a bug, where after a spy reaches lvl4, i spawned a new recruit with another spy through the promotions, it got the same name as the first spy and somehow opened the same promotion tree as the first, it didnt apply the first spy's promotions but they couldn't be selected again for the new recruit, interestingly, i could pick a promotion from the end of the mpromotion tree even being lvl1. 可能是因为我安装了别的模组所导致的问题,但是我还是反馈一下,我这发生的问题是当两个间谍名称相同时(老间谍满级点满了最底下一整条升级线)新间谍升级时会发现最底下的一条升级线显示已获取(实际并没有获得效果,但是问题在于下面4个升级无法获取,同时可以选择除此以外的任何升级,也就是说第一次升级就可以点长袖善舞)。我怀疑是名称相同导致升级树被视为相同,由于间谍无法重命名导致情况变得糟糕

Yeah, ok. It does sound OP. Excellent idea, and I had fun with it, but a bit unbalancing for me.

Yes, you can with this mod recruit above max spies cap.
And also get this 0 turn when choosing one or both of the time-reduction promotions.
Can this stack with other mods dealing with spies? If so, what parameters are changed so I can look for other mods dealing with similar code.

"When completing an offensive operation, Spy provide +5 [ICON_Science] Science and +5 [ICON_Culture] Culture, doubled if it has the Criminal Schemer promotion." if a mission takes 8-16 turns (even if it took 2) this means this number isn't really worth anything, especially by the time you get spies in the game. Maybe a free eureka/inspiration would make more sense, or otherwise a percentage of current science output (so say every successful mission results in 2 turns worth of science being completed).

Can you take multiple promotions in the same level ? I have my max spy level at 7 currently so my spies are superstars late game haha
