Description
The Thunder King Joins the Fray!
Ky is an all rounder character with a tool for every situation.

Neutral Special: Stun Edge
Fire a projectile. Tap to fire a slower edge, hold a little longer to fire a faster one.
When used in the air, the tap/hold controls the angle.
Can be charged to unleash a stronger multihit projectile.

Up Special: Vapor Thrust
A rising attack with some invulnerability at the start. Has a launching follow up if special is pressed again.

Side Special: Stun Dipper
A low sliding attack.

Air Side Special: Needle Spike
A slash followed by a kick. Good for combos.

Down Special: Greed Sever
A leaping slash that spikes and starts combos.

Tension Meter
Ky has many uses for his Tension meter.
  • Side+Shield 2: Ride the Lightning - Advancing attack with some invulnerability at the start. Can be used in the air. Costs 50 Tension.
  • Shield 2+Special: Sacred Edge - Fires a fast high damage projectile. Can be used in the air. Costs 50 Tension.
  • Shield 2 during Down Air: Stun Raising - Enhanced version of down air that is larger, stays out longer, and doesn't disappear when Ky is hit. Cost 25 Tension.
  • Special while charging Stun Edge: Lightning Sphere - Creates a sphere in front of Ky that pulls in opponents on hit. Costs 25 Tension. Pressing special again will use another 25 Tension to use Charge Drive, a strong finishing attack.
  • Shield 2 (pressed twice): Roman Cancel - Instantly return to an idle state. Costs 50 Tension to cancel attacks(or 25 to cancel certain attacks at certain times), costs 25 meter to cancel other things (ie; cancelling special fall).

I guess i never said it anywhere but all my gg characters already have a sort of tension pulse, where stringing more hits together gets you more meter per hit. I could set it up to include bonuses for parrying too. Thanks for playing and for the feedback too

the only thing i could think of changing would be adding in the tension pulse system so things like parrying and playing more aggressively has a chance of giving you more meter per hit
But he's still good the way he is
