Original mod notes (1.2):

Adds Nine vanilla-styled and balanced (but in some cases exceeding) metals, crafted by smelting different materials together in Blacksmithies and the Electric Furnace, each with their own niche role.

Basic Alloys:
Simple Alloy:
Note: Simple Alloys are unlocked with Smithing, and are made at the Electric or Fueled Smithy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~ Cupron
A brilliant orange-colored alloy produced by alloying a small quantity of gold and steel with some heat. Visually appealing and naturally somewhat sterile, this is often used as an attractive yet still somewhat practical alternative to dull steel.

An alloy made of three parts gold to seven parts steel, this metal has a beauty value slightly below that of silver, but is easily produced. Statistically similar, but slightly worse, than steel in all regards save for heat protection.

~ Radite
A tough, dense alloy of uranium and steel. Very difficult to work and quite dense, but very durable, if not much more protective than regular steel. Very absorbtive of heat, but worse at insulating against cold.

Made from three parts uranium to seven parts steel, this metal is very slow to make and anything it is made of weighs 1.35x what it normally would, making it a poor choice for caravan equipment. However, it is more durable than steel, and makes slightly better (but slower) weapons.

Advanced Alloys:
Advanced Alloys:
Note: Advanced Alloys are unlocked with Fabrication. All non-small Advanced alloys are stackable to 2x their Vanilla stack size, and are made at the Electric Smelter, not the Smithy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~ Suprasteel
A popular alloy comprised of a combination of steel and plasteel synthesized with Chemfuel, which retains many of the attributes of the latter while being much cheaper for general use. Being a fixed-size alloy bullion, these can be stacked to twice the capacity of most other metals.

A tough alloy made of three parts steel to seven parts Plasteel, this alloy is about 85% as effective as Plasteel while being 30% cheaper to craft equipment and structures with.

~ Silanium
A bright white metal created by the chemical spltting of Plasteel, which is alloyed with silver. It is incredibly lightweight, and retains most of the physical properties of regular Plasteel.

A form of chemically altered plasteel which is incredibly lightweight, and naturally sterile. Any items made of this will weigh 0.5x as much as usual, while maintaining generally identical statistics to Plasteel.

~ Royamalgum *LOW VOLUME*
An exceptionally expensive metal oft used by wealthy aristocrats and by members of glitteworld royal polities. Admired for its pleasant purplish color as well as its relative durability, this alloy can be used for manufacturing high-quality armor, weapons, and furniture alike. Often used as the fiscal backing of many a glitterworld polity, as its production process cannot be recreated without top-secret knowledge without notable monetary loss during transfusion, meaning more is spent making it than is gained from it.

A material made from gold, plasteel and silver, both more than twice as expensive and beautiful than gold, which is created at a net loss but can be traded to yearly Imperial Tribute Collectors for an unusually high Honor value due to their use as currency within many highly developed polities. Less durable than plasteel, but still highly protective if used for armor.

Ultra Alloys:
Ultra Alloys:
Note: Ultra Alloys are unlocked with Advanced Fabrication. All non-small Advanced alloys are stackable to 2x their Vanilla stack size, and are made at the Electric Smelter, not the Smithy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~ Radamanium
A dark-green alloy wrought from the slow alloying and forging of Radite and Plasteel. Famed for it's incredible durability, this metal is quite dense but very strong, and it is amazing at protecting against blunt force, making it a popular choice of material for high-grade spacecraft hulls. Being a fixed-size alloy bullion, these can be stacked to twice the capacity of most other metals.

One of the most durable materials in the game which makes it amazing for structures, but no more protective against sharp damage than Plasteel, and quite heavy. Very difficult to work with and quite time consuming to produce, while having neutral beauty unless used as a tile. Any items made of Radamanium weigh 1.15x as usual, and doors open a bit slower.

~ Luciferrite *LOW VOLUME*
An incredibly unorthodox usage of the Nanites found in the infamous super-pill Luciferium, the nanites are suspended in a Neutroamine base which, through careful reprogramming at a fabrication bench, have been set to construct themselves into whatever shape is desired of them before going into a state of hibernation. The down side? Incredible cost, and the fact that they burn like hell when exposed to flame.

Overall, one of the best materials in the entire game - any structures or items constructed from it can be made almost instantly, have incredibly high HP, and very high armor and weapons values. But, at a cost - it is incredibly flammable, burning at 4x the rate of any other material, and it offers _negative_ values to heat armor. It is also incredibly expensive, requiring a single luciferium and advanced component as well as Neutromaine for 10[/] mechanites. Items made of this weigh .33x as much, and doors open incredibly quickly.
