AMX-10P

The AMX-10P is a French infantry fighting vehicle of the 1970s. Deliveries of the first serial IFVs began in 1973 for the 7th Mechanized Brigade of the Army, based in Reims. It was intended to replace the AMX-VCI armored personnel carrier. For many decades it has been one of the lightest infantry fighting vehicles in the world. Floating without the use of special watercraft. In the French Ground forces, from 2008 to 2016, the AMX-10P was partially replaced by the VBCI wheeled infantry fighting vehicle.
