Information for Travellers

The Mithril system contains seven rocky worlds and one gas giant.

The Mithril system orbits a hot, large star with the Catalogue Number 4335688.

The Mithril system is part of the Metal Worlds. These worlds are designated Reserves currently closed to exploitation. The treaties signed with the Imperium at the end of the Forth Frontier War also designates the Metal Worlds as a demilitarised zone.

Mithril is a member of the Sword Worlds Confederation.

The Mithril system has no Starport. Starships must harvest fuel from the planet Mithril’s ocean or from the gas giant.

The planet Mithril is a cold, Barren meso world with a Standard atmosphere with a world ocean of surface water.

The planet Mithril was first surveyed by the Darrians sometime in the -1000s. It was claimed by Steel in 256 but never colonised.

The Mithril system sits on the border with the Third Imperium. The system is occasionally visited by scouts from the Patrol. IISS starships also occasionally visit the system.

The Bronze system has no Government and no laws as there is no population beyond the crews of starships passing through.

The Sword Worlds Confederation did establish a tiny outpost manned by a single individual on the planet Mithril. However, after several of the wardens vanished from the outpost it is now left unmanned.

The planet Mithril has a rich biome of cryophilic organisms. Some of these organisms may pose a threat to visiting sophonts.

Mithril has TL-0.

The simulation is currently stable, but that might change when running the simulation forward.
