Description
What is this?
This mod disables the survivor repopulation of AI settlements. New characters won't spawn inside them, so these communities are now fixed in size. You can also disable the base re-occupation by other groups through the settings (enabled by default).

Can be added to current saves.

Settings
The settings file can be found in the mod's folder under "Settings_NoRepopulation.xml"
  • EnableChickenRepopulation. Whether chickens repopulate in AI settlements. (default true)
  • EnableBaseReoccupation. Whether AI groups can occupy abandoned AI settlements. (default true)

Compatibility
Shouldn't have any incompatibilities. Report any issues in the comments section!

A feature request for this mod - add refugee/raiders recruitment. Refugees who wander into other communities camps should have a chance to be recruited :)

i love your mods but, could you make a mod for a better UI? I feel that the vanilla UI is quite awkward with the floating heads and chat interrupting and being somewhat visible to all players,

When I saw the update that added repopulation to NPC settlements, I knew a mod like this wasn't far behind. I've already found ways to skirt around it by changing things in the editor, but this mod is great for people who aren't so savvy with the editor.
