@sigaret i've worn some of these before. they're light work gloves and the grippy dots are meant to make manipulation of metal objects easier. the fabric provides minor protection for the skin while being thin enough to avoid causing too much loss of dexterity. they're pretty good for working on cars or other mechanisms. wouldn't be my go to for shooting though, i prefer doing that bare handed if the weather allows. any amount of dexterity loss is too much for that activity.
