From Best to Worst reactors sub-stats
1st: Colossus + Crit Damage // (Highest Damage)
2nd: Colossus + Singular // (2nd Highest Damage)
3rd: Colossus + Chill // (3rd Highest Damage)
4th: Crit Damage + Singular // (4th Highest, by not having Colossus Damage)

All 4 Crit Mods on Hailey is the ideal, since Colossus have a multiplier for reducing critical rate on skills and guns having 100% crit chance with insight, will increase your total critical chance after the colossus Critical Resistance multiplier.

Glacial Synct OR Shot Focus?

Glacial Synct will give you a higher total damage Zenith (4th skill) and Storm Snare (2nd skill).
Shot focus will increase the 'Piercing Light' and 'Perforator' (or any weapon you're using) instance damage on Zenith, but with a lower total damage

Perforator or PiercingLight?
Since the Update 1.1.6, its now possible to have up to 3 weapon optimization on a reactor.

IF YOU WANT TO BE ABSOLUTELY MIN-MAX, HAVE BOTH GUNS WITHIN THE SAME REACTOR
Why? you may ask, some colossus will have different weakpoint weaknesses, like Crush, Burst, or Pierce type. It is shown under the Gun's name. It is only meant for people who want to min-max even 1% more damage, and have enough resources to use freely.
BUT even with this it will only make PL closer or equal to Perforator on very specific situations/colossus.

Fire Type Colossus
On Fire-type Colossus like Pyro and Molten, the Damage goes further apart in the direction of Perforator, due to it having 3 extra shots of the Zenith itself.

A example with Molten, unmodded gun, only showing Zenith damage, but utilizing previous damage as example to indicate how big of a difference the 3 extra zenith shots make.



Zenith Damage = 5.934.108 // Perf Damage = 1,081,297 // PL Damage = 2,108,234

Zenith -- 5.934.108 x11 = 65.275.188
Perf -- 1,081,297 x11 = 11.894.267 x(1,5 from first skill buff) = 17.841.400,5
Zenith + Perf = 83.116.588,5

PL Total (x8 shots):
Zenith -- 5.934.108 x8 = 47.472.864
PL -- 2,108,234 x8 = 16.865.872 x(1,5 from first skill buff) = 25.298.808
Zenith + PL = 72.771.672

IF Pyro was used as example, it would be skewed even more to Perforator, due to him taking extra Skill damage, and less Gun damage.

TLDR
On both cases Perforator comes out on top, but its a way bigger difference with Fire-type Colossi.
Somewhat close on 'Normal' Weakness to chill
Piercing Light could come very close or equal to perforator on Chill Resistant Colossus like Dead Bride / Frost Walker, but at this point you would most likely use a lepic for them.
My Recommendation is to just build Perforator, even more so with the rework it took, with the extra bombs on critical hit, making it a extremely good weapon for shooting too, possibly being very good with her mobbing setup.

What is the FINAL Critical Chance?
With the Mod Setup above, and with hailey's having 16 Stacks of her 3rd skill
Perforator Final CC = 98.4% Critical Chance
Piercing Light Final CC = 100% Critical Chance

You might be thinking, Why Insight mod on hailey?
Assuming a boss has 20% critical resistance

Counting as if you have her 3rd skill up at 16 stacks.
Without insight mod, you have crit chance of 86% crit chance, since most bosses have 20% and up critical resistance, lets use the multiplier of x0.2 to account on the final calculation.
86% Base crit with skill, Bossing having 0.2 crit resistance, you get a loss of:
86x0.2= a loss of 17,2%, meaning your final crit is at 86%-17,2% = 68,8%


With insight mod you cap at 100, with the crit resist of 0.2
100x0,2 = 20%, meaning 100-20 = 80% final crit chance

Crit resistance isnt a 'ceiling', its a multiplier at the end of the calculation that reduces the total critical chance you have, without insight you will have less consistent critical chance.

As a last example, Pyromaniac have 25% crit resistance to skills
Without insight : 86x0,25 = 21,5 > 86-21,5 = 64,5% final crit chance
With insight : 100x0,25 = 25 > 100-25 = 75% final crit chance

Might not seem that big of a difference, but in practice, its a big difference on consistency for hitting criticals with Zenith.

TLDR
Maxed Critical Chance at 100%, is a big positive for consistent critical hits with Zenith.

Its incredibly important to have Max MP on your SENSOR external, for Hailey's 3rd skill mp upkeep.
Why less than 12% on Rounds Per Mag Sub-stat?




As you can see on the img, even without max sub-stat roll i have 8 bullets. (Read the Section bellow: getting the 8th bullet)
Getting the 8th Bullet on Zenith
You will have 2 options
To get the 8th bullet on Zenith, you will need '+100%' magazine size through various sources.
Which are:
  • Mods on the Gun
  • Sub-Stat roll on the Gun
  • Full Slayer Set
Obs: It will be the same regardless of which gun you go for, being PL, Perforator, or any other.
Option 1: Without Sacrificing Weakpoint damage
  • Mods

The Concentrate Support Ammo gives +4% Critical Damage, or you could use the version with +2% Weakpoint damage, whichever you prefer, my recommendation is the 'Concentrate'
  • Sub-Stat roll on the gun
The Sub-Stat NEEDS to be the maximum 12% roll if you decide to go with Option 1
  • Slayer Set
Complete Slayer Set is also REQUIRED due to the full set perk giving +9% magazine Size.

Option 2: Sacrificing Small amounts of Weakpoint damage

  • Mods


  • Sub-Stat roll on the gun
The Sub-Stat NEEDS to be the maximum 12% roll if you decide to go with Option 1
  • Slayer Set
Complete Slayer Set is also REQUIRED due to the full set perk giving +9% magazine Size.

Why compulsive mag?


All other purple mods gives a maximum of +30% Magazine Size, and currently Compulsive Mag is the only magazine mods (other than the blue one) that gives more than 30%, reaching up to +39%, but its not needed, With a Rank 9 (cost 14), you get 34% with -8.8% weakpoint damage.

What are the maths

Option 1:
  • 'Expand' mod gives +49%
  • 'Concentrate' mod gives +30%
  • 'Sub-Stat Roll' gives +12%
  • 'Slayer Set' gives +9%
Total: 49 + 30 + 12 + 9 = 100% extra magazine Size

Option 2:
  • 'Expand' mod gives +49%
  • 'Compulsive' mod gives +34% (at rank 9/10)
  • 'Sub-Stat Roll' gives +8% (having more won't make a difference unless its 12%
  • 'Slayer Set' gives +9%
Total: 49 + 34 + 8 + 9 = 100% extra magazine Size


Option 2 are for people that dont want to bother possibly wasting hundreds of Axis to reroll the Rounds-Per-Mag sub-stat on the gun, the -8.8% WP damage is minimal.
(It will not affect zenith damage, just the gun-side, which would be PL or Perf)

But, if you do care about that tiny extra damage from WP, then Option 1 is the way to go, i personally go for Option 2.

Which it still allows for 2seconds Hard pyro, same as PL (obs: the most consistent clear timing is 3s, you can push to 2s if you get blessed by RNG and have God-Roll reactor.
Improved Gunbuild, HP Focused
You can change 'Strong Mentality' for 'Shot Focus' when doing Colossus Fight



The focus of this build to to mainting her 3rd skill for as long as possible to improve Crit Chance and Damage of her guns, and reducing cost of her 1st, to boost the damage of the guns on the debuffed targets.

Since this build isnt meant for Skill damage, the Externals and Reactor are used for improving other aspects, like -cost, max HP, cooldown, etc.

Gunbuild, Shield Focused version for Deathstalker
This build is mainly for Deathstalker, since he has a debuff that reduces your current Max HP by -50% at one stack, -75% at two stacks, and so on. It doesnt affect Shields.
But it can be used on other places.

Shield and HP Gunbuild Reactor + Externals using Deathstalker Parts
For a Hailey Gunbuild, you will want to focus on Survivability and Utility, since most of your damage will be coming from your weapons, and skills boosting your weapon damage.

For the Reactor and Externals: (observation: what reactor type doesnt really matter, mainly the sub-stats on it, IF you get a chill-singular reactor with those stats, it will just be a bonus.

For the Reactor, you will want Cooldown + Cost, so you can reduce cost of her 3rd skill that boosts crit chance and crit damage, and her 1st skill that gives 9 stacks of +50% damage on 9 bullets for your guns, so you can spam it.



For the external, you wont be boosting the damage of your skills as previously said, your guns will be what does the damage, meaning, you will be looking for Max HP focused External Components to improve survivability.

For a further min-max Post-Deathstalker, you will want to look for atleast 2-piece Invader set that drops from him (death stalker), for the extra +11% Max Shield.

This Section will show me using externals from Deathstalker, but if you cant beat him yet, or havent reached him, look at the other section under this one for a 'budgeted version' which just means a component of a earlier colossus.






Mobbing Build - Cryogenic + Albion Cavalry
This build was made with Perforator and Albion Cavalry in mind with its Reworks on the unique skill on critical hits

Utilizing the same Reactor and Externals of the 'Improved gunbuild', with a simple addition of the cryogenic.

Gun-Build with Cryogenic Transcendent
with this build, the Cryogenic AoE wont be doing a lot of damage, its mostly to add a tiny bit of AoE damage, if you get a Frozen/Singular Reactor with the Albion Mounting and -Cost / Cooldown, it would be the ideal.
