Description
Miner 69'er Deus is a great entry level warp miner, made for Reforged Eden 2. Armed with 4 Industrial Drill Modules, it can quickly eat asteroids & their resources. It's also armed with most basic CV amenities, so it could also function as a starter CV for your early game needs. 4 of the Industrial Drill Modules should mine faster than a turret tool, making this a viable candidate to make turret tools obsolete!

Plus, the first person view is incredible! Utilizing a Jefferies Tube to slip between the drill modules, the cockpit has a front row seat to eating out those asteroids! Plus, it contains an LCD (activated on the ship P Menu) that provides a depth gage, so you know how close to get to asteroids for the drills to function.

Key Features:
- 4 Industrial Drill Modules
- 320k Harvest Storage
- Warp Drive & Compact Shield Generator
- 320k Cargo Storage & 2 16k Cargo Boxes
- 3 Miniguns & 7 Sentry Guns
- Ammo Box
- Full Medical, O2 Station, & Armor Locker
- Advanced Constructor
- Level 15 Unlock

The entrance is on the bottom, using the exposed elevator shaft. A small puff of the jetpack is likely required. There is no hangar included. This is a minimal miner, capable of quick resource gathering in the early game. It can function as an escape ship, or a dedicated miner to bring resources back to base.

Build by Movado. Build for RETwo.

Enjoy!

One of the people I play with showed me this awesome ship today. I had already past beyond it but next server this will SURELY be my first mining CV. Those 4 drills mean I can tunnel without even thinking about it, without maneuvering. And all the really needed equipment is in place: shield, drive. I always go 1) simplest ship ("Atom") and a mechanical drill to get the cobat then 2) Scarab SV 3) mechanical drill mining CV (Pallas Mk2). This Miner69 will take that 3rd role. Also I get back what I invest in less than 1h... so upgrading to whatever I prefer later is not an issue, not at all (i.e. by using this ship I mine 2x the speed of my previous choice, so I make WAY more mins thus making "lost investment" not an issue, even if I don't bother dismantling it later!).
Thank you Movado for this awesome design!!!

Awesome. Cheap, fast, with a shield, defenses and a lot of charge. It eats asteroids in a surprising way. For me it is the quintessential mining ship for asteroids. And the first-person view spans the ENTIRE window. Few things to change, except adding an auxiliary CPU and changing the detector for a more powerful one, but it is totally optional. I remember my first cobalt asteroid, getting on a small ship and mining manually to get a handful of minerals... I took revenge later and reduced the asteroid to rubble in a minute. Fabulous. Congratulations, finally a mining ship that is worth starting with. The ones I tried were SV and they were worthless for almost nothing, taking into account that when starting out there are certain minerals that you can't get easily.
