MAPMAKERS ONLY ocean border

Description
This map is surrounded by watersources set to power 0 individually by hand so water wont exit on edge. You can modify it for your own purpose without manually changing every single source.

can be an ocean-border for your map.
holds water for whatever purpose you need it to
made with biggest map size
can fill up to a space OVER build limit (if you add source)
You can delete some of it to let water out or dont need full barrier

considered releasing it full blank but added small play area you can destroy in one swoop

Tipp:
filling the Map up full takes a while, best to let the computer run and do something else
The lone pole is just a "flag" that shows build limit

EDIT: -added pictures

picture of play area_has 2 sources power 6 and 2 sources -10 to get rid of water
pictures of each action it takes to change a source value and move on to the next _LOL
and a picture of whole border dry
last picture is finished map again, but I built and deleted land to make waves

Thank you. I have not tried editing files yet, but doesnt sound too complicated.
I will try it out when I need another map size waterproof

For me its a bit too late, but it can save other people from losing their sanity
So your comment is definitly a lifesaver:steamthumbsup:

Awesome idea! As an alternative to setting the water values by hand:
1 - Browse local maps and locate your map as [MapName].timber (turn "Show File Extensions" to on in file explorer or equivalent)
2 - Rename file to [MapName].zip
3 - Extract all files from the zip file
4 - open world.json in any text editor
5 - replace text (ctrl-H in most Windows editors):
"WaterSource":{"SpecifiedStrength":1.0,"CurrentStrength":1.0
with:
"WaterSource":{"SpecifiedStrength":0,"CurrentStrength":0
6 - save the file
7 - select all 4 files that were extracted from the zip file and then compress to zip file (right click for this option in Windows)
8 - rename the Zip file to [MapName].timber and place it in the maps directory it was originally in, overwriting the original
9 - ????
10 - Profit!
